3:30. Until 1995, this was actually very common. Adults would actually do "Pox Parties" where all the neighborhood kids would get exposed and infected with chicken pox from an infected kid. Since there's now a chicken pox vaccine, they're less common now.

Yeah you saved me posting the same thing. In the 1970's parents definitely weren't concerned with kids catching chicken pox. Ironically I couldn't catch a cold if I French kissed someone with a cold. I'm 58 now and have never had chicken pox or measles.

That’s basically what happened when the first vaccines were created. There were some milkmaids who contracted cowpox, which is in the same virus family as smallpox, and a guy realized that since they had cowpox they were already immune to smallpox. So he started giving other people the cowpox virus on purpose to fight off the smallpox virus

This is also present in the movie where they are against their children using profanity despite in an earlier scene, Liane can be heard saying a swear word right in front of the boys when they are sent to Mr. Mackey's office. *Their poor job at teaching the kids sex-ed. *Gerald causing a gender divide at South Park Elementary via his troll alter-ego. -Easily the worst thing Gerald has ever done *Saying "shit" so much, they unleash a dragon. *Removing everything important about Christmas in their very first Christmas special. *Assuming the missing corpse of Kyles Grandma was raped and blaming Korn for ghost pirates attacking the Halloween festival. -We later discover the whole thing was a set-up by Father Maxi to condemn Korn and Halloween for being unholy *Attempting to overtake the White House in a war re-enactment. *Believing a goat is Stevie Nicks. *Randy's multiple publicity stunts for Tegridy Farms. *Refusing to accept that Stan and Cartman broke the largest beaver dam and instead blame other sources. -Stan and Cartman even said that they were the ones that broke the dam. *Failing to notice the missing top part of Britney Spears head after a suicide attempt. *Randy Causes The Pandemic

“Douche and Turd” is the most controversial and one of the worst South Park episodes ever. Stan did not deserve to be banished from town just for not voting. He was spat on by the townspeople, including his best friend, Kyle, his brown coat was torn off, he was tied up onto a horse, bound with a bucket on his head and sent away, then he got shot in the arm before returning home to South Park and voting with everybody not caring about his condition except his vote. This episode has effected me for 2 years now.

A lot of those things can be avoided by taking the time to actually be parents, thinking for themselves, and actually listening to their kids when they have a problem. Butters's parents and the therapist never asked Butters if he was playing pretend or if he knew what was happening when he was blindfolded. They also never consider the possibility of Butters not intentionally trying to cause trouble or inconvenience them. A lot of the parents sometimes forget that their kids are kids; especially in Butters's case. When Randy discovers what Butters's Creamy Goo is, his parents just assume he is trying to be sarcastic, but he doesn't even know what sarcasm is, or what he was selling.
