Robin’s death hit me super mega hard. It’s one of those “I remember where I was when” moments. I was in my room & it came on my phone that he died & I ran outside to my parents, on the pool deck and said “you won’t believe it, Robin Williams died”. Very sad because he was my #1 bonified favourite comedian, actor & entertainer. I CAN NOT watch Patch Adams or Mrs. Doubtfire without learning something new every time.

I personally went to Robin Williams for my joy and to reignite the "spark" in my life. Much like everyone else, i miss him and the others dearly. I know Mr Rickles lived to be relatively old but he's still so very missed. Personally one of my favorites. Even though his prime was before my time, as a fan of stand up comedy I've watched clips of him for many years. Carlin, Rickles, and Chappelle are my personal 3 favorites.

I will never understand how we as a society agreed to not use “Die“ or “Died“ .. “Murdered“ “Killed“ we have to say “Expired“ or “Gone away “ .. cmon people .. we die .. because we don’t say it it’s not “going away” .. Death is around any corner .. that’s what makes life worth living .. that we can go and we should try to be happy now .. it’s crazy we can’t say “ DIE “ anymore 🤦🏻♂️ it’s embarrassing

I found by just random circumstances, Patrice O'Neol. He was at his best, live on the radio. I happened to find Opie & Anthony in a market that usually don't do risky shows. I immediately knew I was in a special place at a special time. I heard him and realized he was special and made me laugh when my life was such that all I did was cry. I credit O'Neil and Rich Vos and O & A for me breaking out of that funk and by extension saved my life. I still to this day find old shit and listen and it's just as good now as it was then. I still get jokes I didn't get then. Thank for this list. It really hit home.

You missed one: John Pinette, a very funny comedian and actor who died rather young at age 50 in 2014 from a health issue likely related to his obesity.

The line of heavy comedians who have died young from weight-related issues stretch back generations. From Roscoe "Don't call him Fatty to his face" Arbuckle to Curly Howard to Lou Costello to latter-day comics like O'Neal, Pinette, etc.

Omg John Candy was so hilarious & funny!! Planes, Trains Automobiles, Uncle Buck, were just a few of his movie credits. Robin Williams was a loss felt across the country. He was hilarious, he could do serious & he was absolutely 💯 the best at improving!!

Never realized Belushi was gone so early because I obviously watched him on TV in the early 80’s WELL after his death . I don’t think I knew Sam Kinison used to be a preacher 😂

I miss so many. Chris Farley, Freddie Prinze, John Ritter, Gilda Radner, and of course Robin Williams. All so talented and all gone much too soon.

I saw Mitch Hedberg on stage just months before he died. He also appeared once in a very funny role on That 70's Show.

I think if there were ever a biopic for Gilda Radner, I think Renée Zellweger will make a easy choice to play her.

Anyone who devotes their lives to making people laugh can't live long enough imho. R.I.P. to them all.

If see an interviews of anyone who knew Chris Farley, they can't go more than a few minutes of talking about him without getting emotional, even 25 years after his death.

Chris Farley was a very sad, tragic person! The pity I had for him was indescribable. When I learned how much he hated himself, I actually feel guilty for laughing now

I’m a fan of nearly all the stars mentioned here. So sad that so many greats passed away in their prime. Deaths of comedians like John Candy, Chris Farley, Robin Williams and Mitch Hedberg affect me to this day. Can’t even count how many times I’ve watched PTA or Tommy Boy, for example.

2004 Mitch Hedberg came to the bar I was working at a nightclub in Orlando. I immediately reckognuzed him. I greeted him, told him I was a fan, made us a couple shots and shared some laughs. At closing time he said he could use a Pick me up. I obliged. So we headed out to my truck to chop out a couple rails amd he was cracking jokes the whole time. I had an empty Light Beer can in my truck bed and he said." Look how light this beer is" and floated it up in the air like an airplane. He was performing that Sunday and invited me to his show told me to bring my GF and to just tell the doorman I was on his guest list. And true to his word we went 2 days later. Dude was a genuine good soul.

If Chris Farely hadn't have followed in John Belusi and John Candy's footsteps he'd still be around today. His friends even told him to slow down with the lifestyle he was choose behind the scenes. RIP all the comedians that were on this list.

Farley was a man who needed to please everyone and he just became friends with the wrong people. The leeches and scumbags he was around at the end used him till there was nothing left.

No, not John Candy. Belushi, yes. But not John Candy. I wish people would stop comparing Candy to Farley, Candy was NOTHING like Farley. Candy was actually a respectable actor, unlike Farley and Candy’s life wasn’t totally outta control like Farley’s and Belushi’s
@cjhansen66182 жыл бұрын
@@nsasupporter7557 according to Adam Sandler's tribute song to Chris. Chris also liked to over eat and didn't pick the healthy of food just like John Candy. Chris even said John Candy was one of his idols.
@nsasupporter75572 жыл бұрын
@@cjhansen6618 over eating was just part of it… he was a drug addict and chased prostitutes. Candy had a little bit of a drinking problem but nothing like John Belushi or Chris Farley’s lives. Both of their lives were totally out of control
