Cartman's mom - if Butter's parents are the worst of South Park in one way, Cartman's mom is the worst for basically making her son a manipulative sociopath that expects to get everything he wants constantly. She doesn't even punish him for various things like: literally attempted genocide of other kids, attempting to ensure Jewish people may be killed, giving one of his friends HIV, making a business that profits off the suffering of Crack Babies, killing his own biological father, etc. The worst thing I got away with as a kid, (that didn't involve the stock market and/or anything either of my parents were directly involved in), was literally getting one of my friends in a fight with both of her sisters at once, but I literally dodged a punch to the face to have that happen due to a disagreement about me selling a toy to allow another kid to torment his little sister with. I only wanted the money, not the fallout. I never did anything as extreme as Cartman did at my worst. Either way here, both of these parent sets should get "Worst parents in South Park" awards.

Yeah, Stephen and his wife deserve to be thrown in jail for the latter attempting to kill Butters and the former for helping her cover up the truth! Put Butters in a foster home that loves him and make sure that his parents can never see him again! Edit: This would most likely happen in real life with the Stotchs admitting what they've done in front of everybody on live television. Because clear conscience or not, what they did was unforgivable and a crime! And nobody in their right mind would let them keep Butters after that. The fact that no one has is just another example of how dumb the South Park adults truly are.

Fact; Mum and Dad's real names in Horrid Henry are (Ecstatic) Eileen and (Silly) Simon. Also, Dad is shown to actually be nicer to Henry, having been something of a horrid boy when he was young, while Mum tends to treat him worse. There's even a belief that Henry could have ADHD or Autism, yet his parents don't even seem to take the time to think about that. They also disrespect his interests and (as shown) tried to portray him as the child they wanted (which included claiming that he doesn't eat sweets or watch TV, eats all of his vegetables and does all of his homework, even when he gets double), which backfired when concern was raised to them that Henry's apparent behaviour wasn't that of a normal child.

I know that she most likely wasn't the best child, with her somewhat narcissistic behavior but giving her electro shocks and not only start nonstop Partying, when she was gone to the show but also sell/dump(not sure if they got Money) all her possessions at that time says a lot about the Parents.

Dishonorable Mention: *Odalia Blight - The Owl House -Many of the entries on this list simply aren't there to support their kids, but in this case, maybe the parent in question was around too much. The best way I could describe Odalia Blight is a cross between Mother Gothel from Tangled and Ghetsis from the Pokemon Series. To say that Odalia has her "family" wrapped around her little finger would be an understatement. She raised her own daughter, Amity, to be a bully, had Amity's friends expelled when she felt they were a bad influence, tried to get Luz killed during a Blight Industries expo, and was even willing to go along with Emporer Belos' genocide plan under the false promise of gaining power and a place in high society. Even her own husband, Alador, was a victim of her abuse. Is it any wonder why Amity disowned her?

Susan and Frank Heffley: Susan never wants her sons to have fun and enjoy themselves and always wants things to go her way. She also likes to embarrass and shame Greg alot like in Big Shot and The Ugly Truth. As for Frank, he is a terrible dad! He once left Greg at work, is always embarrassed of him and Rodrick, and even tried to ship Greg off to military school! And to make matters worse, they never punish Manny and blame Greg and/or Rodrick for his actions or sugarcoat his actions. And one time, Frank got in an argument with Susan because Greg wanted a dollhouse for Christmas. And he banned Greg and Rodricks afterschool naps.

If anything, Heinz's own parents should be on that list, not him. While Doof is eccentric, he's not a bad guy, he's just misunderstood, and it's because of his parents. His childhood was rough because of them. They didn't show up to his birth, favored his brother, Roger over him, had a dog named Onlyson(like they don't have one of their own already), disowned him and was being raised by ocelots, shunned him for not jumping from the high dive, his dad made him dress like a gnome and stand outside for hours, and his mom made him wear a dress for a year just 'cause they were out of material. All this shows how horrible Heinz's parents were to him growing up and we can all sympathize towards that. But when he had a child of his own, he made sure he gave Vanessa a better childhood than he did. He threw her a party for her birthday every year, showed up for her recitals, protected her, and most of all, searched far and wide for the doll she wanted as a kid and got it for her. Vanessa appreciates him very much and although he can be a bit cooky and weird, he's a good dad to his daughter. A much better parent than his actual parents for sure

I'm working on writing a series where I believe my protagonist has one of the worst parents ever. 1. My protagonist's father physically abuses his kid. His mother does nothing about it. 2. Neither parents is involved in their kid's life. His dad goes off to strip club and is involved in a gang. His mother stays at home to get drunk. 3. If I had to choose parents I'm glad are not mine, I would choose Crimson, Cash Buckzo, and Paimon from Helluva Boss. Paimon is Stolas' dad, Cash Buckzo is Blitz's dad, and Crimson is Moxxie's dad. Oh and I can't forget Stella from Helluva Boss and Odalia Blight from The Owl House. Stella and Odalia are both horrible wives and mothers plus they are both so abusive that their husbands decided to divorce their wives for their children's sake, heck Stella even hired Striker to kill Stolas and she even admits to enjoy tormenting him. As for Paimon, Cash Buckzo, and Crimson they are the definition of worst fathers to their sons. Paimon is neglectful and forced Stolas to have an arranged marriage to Stella, Cash Buckzo is greedy and manipulative to Blitz that he forced him to have a playdate with Stolas while stealing his riches, in the episode Oops, Cash Buckzo gave Fizzarolli a card that says, "I wish you are my son" which is wrong on so many levels which caused Blitz to accidentally caused a fire in the family circus. And the worst parent of all is Crimson because he abused Moxxie since childhood, killed his mother off screen, forcing him to marry Chaz and wear a dress, he's also very homophobic and doesn't care about Moxxie's sexuality. That's just beyond wrong and he's even vowing revenge on Moxxie while throwing a knife at Moxxie's picture as a little kid.😨😡

No way in the seven rings of Hell is Nicole and Richard worse that Beth and Jerry. The former pairs love story is everything, and at most they do their best to support and cheer the other up. Richard may have a few faults, but his love for his wife and kids are so genuine and his best quality. Nicole is, overly competitive, overworked and overwhelmed ( I mostly blame Gumball for that) but she’ll bust some skulls and destroy anyone’s spirit for her family. Beth and Jerry’s relationship on the other hand, well if space therapy says it, then it really is (was) a fucked up dynamic that shouldn’t of happened. Also, I think that they’re putting too much pressure on Jerry finding a befitting job. He could work as a garbage man, a janitor, or even a mail man and they’d still give him flack

What puts Big Bob and Miriam over the top is that they are bad parents to both Helga AND Olga. They neglect Helga, but they put so much pressure on Olga that she freaks out over supposedly getting a B on her college report card. She stays in her bed crying non-stop for days, listening to Mozart's Requiem. And it turns out she got an A, Helga was messing with her. But the fact that her possibly being slightly not perfect at something makes her act like that shows she was never taught that failing at something is part of life. It's how you learn.
