#18... the fact that our own government uses us as guinea pigs on weapons that they would in turn use to attack other countries with scares me. I've already had thoughts that they're manipulating us so they can sell us as mindless consuming robots. The fact that they put such a hindrance to suicide and now they're even trying to make abortions illegal, yet it's a fact that dysfunctional families have dysfunctional children who in turn cost more and themselves struggle more. I don't see the department of human and Family Services talking about laying people off and building smaller buildings so they anticipate the need for them to increase. This experiment for some reason made me think of Donald Trump and the wall. everyone acts like America is the best place to come and live your dream and I've always felt it's like other countries selling their citizens to America to be more brainwashed. it doesn't take an entire system to be corrupt it just takes a few people to be corrupt and to make themselves powerful and to create the system.

The problem with "climate change" argument is due to the fact the ones that scream about it always says we only have 5 years or we only havve 8 years. When that 5 to 8 years come up they cry we only have 5 more years
@dietotaku
@dietotaku Жыл бұрын
you're not correctly understanding what they're saying. the closest anyone's come to a claim like that was in 2018 when AOC echoed a scientific report stating that, _if we did nothing,_ we were *12* years from _the point of no return_ - the point at which climate change cannot be undone no matter what. the ocean in particular has already reached the point of no return, in 2014 - it is now impossible to bring ocean temperatures back down to pre-industrial levels. atmospheric change, on the other hand, still has wiggle room - if we changed absolutely nothing about our emissions, we would hit that point of no return by 2030. if we act aggressively to limit emissions and pull carbon out of the atmosphere, we could delay that to 2042. but even if we did nothing and we hit that point of no return in 2030, all life on earth is not going to abruptly come to an end on 1/1/2030. it's just going to reach a point where we can't reverse it, and we're going to have to live with the devastating effects of a significantly warmer planet (rising seas, widespread droughts/famines/floods, increasingly severe storms, mass migration in search of livable, arable land). so you see it's not a hard line in the sand where "on this date at this time, the world will end." climate change has already happened, and the question now is how bad are we going to let it get and how quickly will it get to a point that it can't be fixed?

I wonder if in the future we will see this list redone and include renewable energy because of the real damage to the planet but is being ignored because governments can use it for taxing and and control.
@ThatGamingAsshole
@ThatGamingAsshole Жыл бұрын
Highly unlikely. enewable energy is something of a kind of pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it's literally impossible. Almost any kind of energy requires fuel to be put in, and even when you talk about electric batteries they still have to be produced they still have to receive a charge from somewhere and that charge means a power grid powered by carbon emissions etc etc. So anything that would be genuinely renewable would essentially be a perpetual motion device, which is just a fairy tale. And also if there WERE some sort of renewable, infinite energy source not only with some corporation already be mass producing it but they would be copywriting it, they would be monopolizing it. It would be the most important technological breakthrough in the history of human civilization and whoever got their hands on it first wouldn't just be billionaires they would be the first trillionaires, they would essentially become a nation onto themselves, become a superpower onto themselves, so the fact that nobody has ever developed renewable energy (real renewable energy, not some kind of "green" pipe dream, but you know like perpetual motion or something) you can just say be default because of that it's just not possible. And anyway, physics says it's not possible. So no it doesn't exist, "green" energy is a good idea but so are leprechauns... And actually they might be more logical, since the idea of an extremely long lived race of midgets living in Ireland that used to mine gold would kind of work, from a biological standpoint.
@BlapwardKrunkle
@BlapwardKrunkle Жыл бұрын
Renewable energy isn’t killing the planet, capitalists are. As long as it’s profitable to kill the planet, they will keep doing it. Even if 99% decided not to, they would be outcompeted by the 1% that does. Finding renewable energy that isn’t dependent on foreign slave labour to maximize profits is how we save the fckin planet. recycling was a scam by oil companies to put the burden on the consumer rather than the producer. Holding oil companies accountable for their 23% cumulative global carbon footprint is how we save ourselves from extinction.

Great video one cavoite. For #8 the poisonings alcohol being sold as industrial alcohol. When you distill alcohol there is a thing called an azeotrope aka you can not fully distill all the alcohol from the water its in. So you include other chemicals to raise the azeotrope such as benzene. This practice is still in use to make lab grade ethanol such as 99% alcohol by volume. Not saying that the other chemicals listed are not also terrible to drink. My point is benzene probably shouldn't be on the list unless of course the added like quite a bit to it.

Second hand smoke has NEVER been shown to be hazardous. The studies that supposedly do have been manipulated through increasing the margin of error, misrepresenting what the risk range of studies meant, and much more. Studied this in depth in college and dug up dirt on both sides.

Cases such as the sugar. If a company knows of a substances dangers, conceals the data, and markets it as safe all in the name of profit, should be held criminally liable for deaths and inuries caused by the product. In other words, Top execs of Big Tabacco, Big Sugar, Big Oil, and other industries would be charged with mass-murder. That would motivate them to be transparent about their R&D

One conspiracy is that it is real but has nothing to do with human intervention. That's just a money spinner used by the governments of the world in an attempt to manipulate and control us all into doing their will. Climate change is just natural like the last ice age, which ofcourse didnt happen overnight, and can't be blamed on cave men lighting to many bonfires or dinosaurs farting lol

For the global warming "debate", instead of asking people "do you believe in global warming?", ask them "Do you understand global warming?" Cause if they say yes, they absolutely would know why it is such a danger. If they say yes, but still deny it, they are just showing that they are fools; and same goes for "no".

It seems to me the conspiracies on fiction are more intriguing and more dramatic than the ones in reality. I suppose that's because reality doesn't care what we want, whereas entertainers do.

@@rdotfinanceandnews Consider the idea of oil companies assassinating people who have invented things that can reduce their profits. Or the idea of a secret society that manipulates elections are orchestrates events to help certain people become more or less popular. Those sound dramatic because they justify violent action. But in reality, the conspiracies aren’t that dramatic. And that’s because people want to avoid danger. Does that make sense to you?

15:50 tobacco sitting in Congress for ten years after the surgeon-general was on the Congress for saying that causes cancer boils down to our lobbying system. Those people paying to put politicians on Capitol Hill get to decide what bills are pushed through and what bills are put on hold and until money is taken out of politics we're not going to have a fair free society of the people by the people for the people, it's going to be for the corporation and its best interest
