Seeing Jim Carrey in the opening moments of this video almost made me not watch the video. I could not stand him then, and I still do no see the appeal. His only good movies were the Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. If I could erase his early films from existence and my memories of all of the worst, most bullying kids from my childhood constantly quoting him in Ace Ventura and the Mask, I would.

I'm 37 years old now, but TMNT from 1990 was and is still an incredible movie with deep emotions and a great story. The music from John Du Prez is amazing. I've watched it many times as a kid, and even as an adult. Kids with bubblegum and sigars. The foot. Shredder and Master Tatsu. Ralph with his anger deep inside him. Even Splinter who talks to Ralph about his emotions, and talks to all the Turtles at the campfire. So deep. So emotional. A true classic!

Love Independence Day to this day. A favorite just like Armageddon. Titanic.. I still love this movie. I will still watch or read anything related to titanic to this day- was I obsessed with the movie and the actual historic tragedy- yes. I went to the Titanic Museum in Brandson and leaned even more and bought some educational books and a white star line shirt. And I did some digging on the passenger “identity” I was given. Liar Liar is just as much a classic Jim movie as The Mask. I may be in the minority when it comes to Statwars fans, but I actually enjoyed The Phantom Menace and love the Prequals, I love how you can later parallel Luke and Anakin and Leia and Padme. Twister.. that gave me nightmares and my parents thought I was gonna be a meteorologist because i became obsessed with the weather.. if it wasn’t a Maine Biologist because of Free Willy and Flipper. I also loved Air Bud.

Some of my favourites from when I was 11 and younger (not mentioned in the video) - Terminator 2 - The Crow - Seven - Silence of The Lambs - Robin Hood Prince of Thieves - Tremors - Back to the Future III - Beverly Hills Cop III - Lethel Weapon III - Nightmare before Christmas - Billy Madison - Tommy Boy - Demolition Man 🤔 No wonder I’m the way I am.

I also watched most of these as a kid but, i'm glad to say i left "seven" until i grew up. That would have been too much for me back then.

@@AYC_kaymer Its funny, I can actually remember the day we rented and watched Seven. A friend of my brother worked at the video store and I was in there with my dad and he asked him if it was any good, he said “it’s awesome, but the ending will make u want to punch a hole in the wall.” ….was a good sales pitch…

@@marki7661 that's brilliant. Yeah some of the video stores or even later dvd shops used to have at least one worker that really knew their stuff. It was fun to see what kind of things they would recommend to different people.
