Pose was such a important part of my life, not only helped me as a queer latine, it learn about our history, it helped me go trough one of the most dark and heavy time of my life, loosing my best friend to AIDS and my grandmother died from covid, like in the same span of 5 months, i had barely recovered from loosing my grandmother i lost one of the biggest supporter that was helping me navigate throughout the grief, and like Blanca reminded me so so so much of my friend, it was one of the hardest and most traumatic times of my life, pose besides giving me so much insight and helped me see my privilege, it also extremely touching because, it was like a beautiful memento of her, so it has a special place on my heart

Pose changed how I view myself and the 2SLGBTQIA community. I didn't know how bad AIDS was, and that our people were just left to die. It made me want to be better about being tested and being active in my community as a trans person. I finished the show very quickly, as I had no idea the 3rd season would be the last. The dance between Blanca and Pray to Ain No Mountain High Enough is hands down my favorite scene in the whole show. Thank you for bringing Blanca so much life; you made me cry so so much.
