speaking from someone who is only 1 week clean. Everything is done in Gods timing. The word says follow the Holy Spirit and sin will depart from you. Ive been trying to quit for a long time but only within the last two months has the power of God and the spirit taken me away from lustful habits. Abraham gave tithe to Melchizedek waaaay before the law was even given by Moses. Tithing did not come from the law, tithing is Gods principle of giving. Nothing wrong about preaching a message on giving. BUT! It can go both ways. The wrong way like for example Benny Hinn and other scammers. Or it can be in a good and a healthy way. One thing is for sure though, many churches were built, many evangelical missions were payed for and many good things were done for the kingdom of God because there were preachers preaching about giving and people then gave.

Prayers only near death experiences? Paul teaches in 1. Thessalonians to pray without ceasing. What good is it to your personal relationship with GOD when you only bother to pray to HIM when your about to die? Pray as often as possible and make your requests known unto GOD. Additionally, GOD is not religious or kept holy days? Jesus Christ himself kept the holy days in Judaism like the Sabbath or other holy days like the Passover. 1. Jesus would return with Father’s glory and will raise the Holy dead. With them the Saints will be caught up to the Lord from earth. At the end of century our Lord Jesus will bring to the light everything what men did. Righteous people will go to eternal life, and unjust people will go to eternal torture. Lord Jesus will reign, and His authority will not end ever. God will take away the tears and death, with our ayes we will see the throne of our Lord.

I'm not really an expert at answering questions like this for I am also still learning and getting to know God,But I'll give you my opinion. I've once saw this one verse in the scripture about Failure,Faith and God on social media and there was this Man explaining the scripture.He was a very good preacher for in the way he explained and delivered it was very easy to understand. Basically the verse was Timothy 2:13 which says "If we are faithless,He remains faithful" Going back to your problem which is sin. You know the root of our failures, whether if it be failing at doing good and sinning, failing at doing what you have learned etc. We failed and we keep failing because of our lack of faith to our Father. But even if we failed and we don't have any faith left, God still remains faithful and with grace. Now about you not understanding the "what if I sin,you cannot say that Jesus is doing it" Yes you are right, for It is You yourself and I mean Your Flesh is the one sinning. Now for you to further understand here are The common sins of the flesh: Adultery which is S*x & lust, Drunkenness, Stealing,Lying,Idoltery and a lot more. Now because we have A Father,A God who died on the cross and is Forgiving and kind, Our sins have been forgiven. But that doesn't mean we should keep sinning and living for the world for "God wILL jUst ForGIve uS" no that is not the point.The point IS to offer your life to Christ,to give him your worries and for him to control your life,to atone for your sins,And to Believe And Know that He is our Savior the one who died for us and had forgiven our sins, to Know, Aknowladge That He is our one and only Savior and God❤.

im pretty sure i wont make it to heaven based on the fact i cant seem to fix myself as much as i pray for help. I know that god gave everyone free will but yet i seem drawn to some immoral behaviour and perversions some consider evil and I cant truly seem to change fully no matter what i try. I dont hear anything when i try talking to god, it makes me think its either all made up or perhaps i am beyond saving at this point. How do I differentiate the things I do vs what God does? Is everything that "I do" (including things like driving to work or groceries) is actually God? Or does this specifically mean the things that "I do" to honor God, God does for me ?

We do not differentiate, we simply glorify God in everything we do. This is honoring God. You are baptized with the Holy Spirit and require no water. In the times before Jesus the Messiah started preaching it was John the baptist who proclaimed the coming of the Messiah and he baptised the believers with water. However, John said that Christ will baptise with the Holy Ghost. Believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior is your baptism with the Holy Spirit. Hello my friend, this what the lord reaveal to me a couple of months ago before i got baptised, baptism is a declaration to the spiritual world and the world that you will follow Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and that you believe in the plan of salvation that he has for us, now what do i mean to a declaration to the spiritual world and the world, it means that the angels, demons will be witness that you are going to follow our christ to the end, like our friend said, you do not need to water to being baptised in the holy spirit, in ACTS 8:26-39 it show us how Philip teaches the Ethiop the gospel and he gets baptised because he believed in the lord Jesus, also in ACTS 8:4-25 you can see that people can be baptized in Jesus and then gets baptzed in the Holy spirit, i referenced the whole passage to you have the context

John 3:5 : Jesus reponds: if someone isn't born from water AND from Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom.... You go into the water as the old one and you come out as the new one., who's life is now to Jesus, ready for to live what He has planned for your life. Read the New Testament and you'll find that even Jesus, before starting his ministry, had got immerged in the water. Of cause, the life of the man on the cross, saved by Jesus in the last moment was finished, he did not have baptism. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus orders to make disciples all over the world and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and rhe Holy Spirit. The baptism of John foreshadowed Christian Baptism, and in Christ's baptism, He was both baptized in water, and affirmed by the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove.

I think he's trying to say to be a baby to the lord, to trust him fully without care and to believe in him wholeheartedly. @@vishalarumugam448 We do have a very clear path to believing what we want , this is true and each to their own , some more difficult, complicated than to others, others depending how they view or were born , arrogant, nasty, selfish, kind , murderous ect. For me a few instances, a motorbike I am fixing with a sissy bar and large metal cross on top.i became interested in trying to obtain a brass Cross of Jesus , the first time I have looked intently, as wanting one with good face ect , I later started to become quite traumatised, what a wicked thing that we have done to this man , terrible., humans have never changed in all these years , your eye I am sorry, yet when this human was held on the floor a person was saying, good boy , and the boy was smiling..I have woken up to the quran a few months ago , terrible . I have only prayed once , when I was maybe around 9, 10 years old , and strangely, I felt it did not go well, very odd and have never prayed since . I am 64 , and I have struggled to understand how I have always struggled to be with people, struggled to fit in , struggled to survive, I'm still alone and struggling. So many clashing of people magnetic to bring on my demise, unbelievable.. May your God bless you . Why do harshness fall upon some of us , continually and yet we constantly don't know how , for some reason to deal with it .
