This Tennessee team played poorly on the offensive line of scrimmage and never gave Nico a chance. The first drive for Ohio State, Tennessee gets Ohio State in a 3rd down and about 4 yards to get a 1st down. The defensive line grabs Ohio State QB by the facemask, 15 yard penalty and automatic 1st down for Ohio State. I went back and watched the game, Nico played lights out, if not for him the score is more lopsided and worse. He scrambled for 99% of the night, punched in a TD from 4 yards out, driven by hardwork and kept Tennessee closer. It's just like Coach Heupel said: We were outcoached and the players did not excute according to game plan. The whole coaching staff needs to coach better, it is worse than embarrassing to lose by that much. Yes, Ohio State played 3 steps higher than they did all year, Tennessee did not. There needs to be changes made, no one is safe because there is no excuse to put this kind of product on the field. It's bad enough to lose to Georgia....Again, and it overshadows the wins we had over Alabama and Florida. We had over 30,000 fans that attended the game, many people from Ohio said they never seen so many opposition fans in there stadium as Tennessee had. I feel bad for the fans and players too, in particular for Nico, he did everything he could, no doubt!

To be fair to Tennessee their recruiting rankings for this class are 26, 21, 17, 14. You want to guess what Ohio States were from 2021-2024? Ohio state is loaded. We want to pass it short that doesn’t work well, so we try the option that was doing okay for a bit.
