Haudenosaunee, took me like a week of repeating it to myself before i remember. I still call them iroqouis most of the time though

Just call them "Longhouse Lads". That's basically what Handenosaunee means in English. (It's actually People of the Longhouse, but Longhouse Lads is fun alliteration.)

Get 3 boats for water before going up, but with the free market a bit of whaling for a nice hunting dogs timing right as you hit Age II I'd think. Whaling always feels so good as Haude with the weakness of building marketplaces at mines.

An option against annoying envoys, AI explorers, and even a decent way to defend against raids is to use the settlers in melee instead of getting them in the TC. 3 settlers can deal as much damage as a hussar on melee, saved me time and resources every time.

It would be a good idea to have 1 fishing boat on the enemies side so you get vision first thing they make from the dock, or shipment, maybe get native post and get a canoe for 100 wood, you can store pikement in them and use to siege down their dock

To be fair, the game wasn't lost at this point. Bob probably didn't know, but we was about to shut down a big portion of his opponent's eco, killing all ships and denying a herd (or potentially even killing lots of vills with that frig). And even before shutting that down he had the upper hand economically, so he just had to defend for a little longer and tides might have turned again. Even though at this point he probably had so little map control that he just didn't have access to resources, so his eco was probably worse after all.

Nah, Hauds had 4 war canoes almost there. 4 war canoes camped by his dock will beat a frigate. Let alone he can make another canoe or two if it doesn’t. 3 fluyts would have beat 4 war canoes and the dock though

I really want to get into this game, but where do I learn how to play it, apart from this channel obv? Been trying out China/Dutch/Russia but I'm a scrub and I don't know what cards are good or bad

A bulk of my game knowledge comes from watching SamuraiRevolution strategy school videos with Dansil92. Although his videos are of The Asian Dynasties (not DE), there is still plenty to be learned from their videos.

Lionhearts recordings are from usually top 50 players. Elite players. Watch Lionheart for the small intricacies of the game. And Aussie Drongo had some good build orders a few years back. - learn hotkeys, learn builds, and practice on skirmish mode against the lowest AI. Then go up in difficulty. At this moment you’re like Vegeta before going into the hyperbaric time chamber. You need to train. And I mean if you want to get good train and train and train more.

hey man, can you help me? i've have some difficulty to deal mass organ guns! try to counter with everything. culv, heavy cav, light cav, but its too hard to deal with someone with 20 of those. to win against port, normaly i do a rush, but when i take too long, its impossible! any tips?

It all comes down to micro, you can have a 3rd of the culvs and win vs 20 organs no prob, just comes down to how well you micro. I would advise practising your micro with artillery, there are time to micro mods etc which are really useful
