I have the 1/2 gallon yeti jug it keeps the water cold all day long ! I just got the newer wide mouth with the pivoting handle I hope it works as well as the old jug🤞

Just bought different sizes of yeti ramblers for my kids, nieces, and nephew for back to school. I like the wide mouth opening to wash by hands. No dishwasher. And the yeti looks sturdier. You can drink the yeti 18oz rambler w/ chug cap like a water bottle. More convenient when driving on long road trips. Great video!

I have both. Overall, I prefer the Yeti because it’s sturdier and better quality. But the Hydroflask is much easier to carry.

The Yeti seem to be the more robust of the two? I have tried klean kanteen which are good. S'well that are very expensive also good. Hydro flask and am now on to Yeti with the chug cap and this is just perfect for a daily hydration bottle? Being in the UK these US brands dont have the cult status here at present. The price for Yeti and Hydro Flask are similar but as said im now loving Yeti for tough as old boots construction.

I have a few Camelbak bottles which has magnetic chug cap. It’s the easiest bottle to drink from the car ( I don’t like to straw sucking for some reason). In Camelbak the cap is always attached to the bottle, so I don’t lose the cap, or doesn’t fall down accidentally. Also, it is magnetic so that it doesn’t fall on your nose when drinking. It also has a strong handle to carry around. The cap is also wide mouth just like yeti and It’s 20.2 ounces bottle has similar size of 18 ounces Yeti bottle.

Great review. I love my Hydro Flask and The Cooldest Water! Probably won’t buy the Yeti because I want to be able to chug from the edge of the container, without a bottle adapter piece. …The Yeti does look cool, like a container for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ooze Fluid. Or like a RoboCop 2 Nuke container.

Hydro flask dents easy and paint chips , i went to yeti and 2 years old looks new. I hate to injest paint chips , look like been in a war. ( now yeti comes with chug cap) i prefer yeti red . I bet contest over .

If you need something super durable and don’t care about weight go with yeti. If you want something light go with hydro flask, you can even throw one of those boots on it to keep the bottom from denting.

Yeti all the way. I had a hydro flask before and they create mold fast. Cleaning is a process. The rubber on the Yeti is easier to clean and keeps my drinks hot or cold well!

I think both Hydro Flask and Yeti use 18/8 stainless steel. Point being, how is it the vessel the creates mold? Wouldn’t it more likely be your local water supply or whatever liquid you use?

I have a hydroflask and two Yetis, and my hydroflask got rust in it. I was shocked that it had rust in it after leaving water in it for a few days. I tried to remove the rust using the tips they provide on their website, but it’s still there. As someone who always keeps water in my water bottles to sip and travel with, kayak with, and take to work, i find it annoying that such an expensive bottle got rusted after a few days. But so far, my yetis have not rusted and have been doing a great job. AND I would like to point out that I have an ozark trail bottle from Walmart that I used to take kayaking all the time, and I accidentally left it with my kayaking stuff for MONTHS filled about 1/3 with water and did not rust, so I’m not sure what’s up with hydroflask.

Great comparison! You made some real points I haven't seen anyone else mention. Yeti looks more sturdy but having the mouth always exposed like that is a huge oversight from a hygiene stance. I would definitely prefer the Hydro Flask. Send it fast...I'm really thirsty xD

There is a water bottle mouth piece attachment for the yeti so that your mouth does not touch the outside of the bottle.
