It means no need to worry about facial expressions, hands, feet, clothing, or body deformities/damage- just straight motion, with the illusion it's happening to a human being. This is not to say Alan's work is beginner-level, but where most other people eventually move beyond stick figures to more advanced models, there are a select few who see the freedom of movement sticks can offer without worrying about detail- and then _specialize the fuck out of it._
