Crossing the river ! Actually the roads are washed Away. It is a risk to judge the depth of water flow.

Hi bro....will be travelling from Nubra to Pangong on 16th Sept...is the route through Shyok river open...heard it was closed recently due to high water level...any info??

In Facebook there is a group called 'Ladakh Club' which seems to be active. Please post your query there and you may get details. But what I heard is that route is vulnerable to heavy water currents if there is sudden change in weather like rain and also high temperature due to which snow melts. It is best to leave very early from Nubra if the road is opened. All the best for your Journey... Thanks.
