WATER DISASTER ON THE RAILROAD

Lots of different things going on this video. Just busy with checking and fixing whatever pops up. We have a leak in our water line and that so happens to run under the railroad.

I may have a solution for that problem with the elk . Some old farmers here in northern Ky have said that they would use old pie pans an a washer. An hang it on the top strand & when the wind blows it’ll tinkle an spook em away.

Jerry, your videos kick me right in the childhood. My great grandpa was a rancher in northern utah. I have many memories of helpin him out. His boys wanted nothing to do with it so naturally its all been sold. I would have taken it over in a heartbeat but being a young guy I didn't have the means. It's nice to see this sort of thing again. I appreciate the extra work you are doin to post these videos. Good luck with the railroad company. There slow as tar around here.

We have probably been at the swap meet for 30+ year. I know the foals and studs because I’m with them everyday. The water line will be fixed, it is in progress. Thx for watching.

We do both. I raised monster. One of the best we have had. I raised Red and Lynx. I have bought quite a few. Texas, Salty, Night Owl, etc. I imagine I will do both some more. When I like it I keep it or buy it, like most people.

Jerry, how do you know what kind of bit to use on what horse?

It depends on the horse. Some horses ride well with a snaffle there whole life, others don’t. It is really how good your hands are. Also maybe you like to change it up.

Hay is grown in the Phoenix area. We live in a dry arid climate so hay is definitely not grown on the ranch
