Why Co ( carbon monoxide) is the base component? Why not H2O ( water) is base component? Because both are reactants, why you choose co as base component? Please explain , thanks in advance 🙏

Good day, is this a low temperature shift of high temperature shift reactor?
@eduXinsight2 жыл бұрын
we used an isothermal reactor so no change in temperature but the reaction itself is exothermic so if lower the temperature then it will shift towards the product side and we can expect higher conversions and vice versa.

@@eduXinsight thanks for the reply , I have to model a low temperature shift converter so I guess this would not be to helpful but thanks for the video it wasgood

@@eduXinsight Regarding this question, a low/high temperature shift reactor refers to the temperature it operates at and not a change in temperature, so would this example you have designed reflect a low temperature shift reactor?

05:16 Is it okay to choose the rxn phase as overall? Any difference between overall and vapour phase?

I appreciate that you took all the lectures but I made these videos 3 years ago and I don’t remember what specifically you are asking and at the moment I don’t have time to go back and check. May be in future…

@@eduXinsight okay brother no worries, i appreciate that you at least replied to my comment. Stay blessed 😇 I have a suggestion, please start over again with more problems may be some complex ones , it will help your audience to enhance the expertise on Hysys simulation software , including me. Best of luck 👍
