I have to like this because Blaque Dynamite is so fun to listen to. As a musician, though, I couldn't find any musical development from the keyboard playing. The beginning set a decent stage, but every shift seemed to be made arbitrarily, after that.

Funny how hard it is to develop when the drummer overplays everything.

I've always been a huge jazz fan , like ...forever. And my tastes have been leaning more " abstract " lately, and this fits perfectly but even with my pinchcent for massively talented drummers, some times I would like to see Mike calm down a bit.

Obviously both incredibly talented but for me personally it's just too much going on, and felt like two people just playing for themselves. Liked it more with the cross sticking came in, something to lock into and then give these busier moments space.

It's just a very chaotic, improvisation style.

This drummer should be the zildjian poster boy....for ev er...there's not many faster or cleaner. When you get past the fact that you'll never play as fast you can learn and enjoy. And dream about owning that high hat and cymbals and the snare and maybe a tom or 2.. nice keys too by the way.

The drumming is cool but the keyboard content is pretty weak

Drumming and keyboard content is pretty weak, in my opinion
@MixMastaCopyCat Жыл бұрын
@@blopa5893 I get where yall are coming from. Even though I know this takes great technical skill, after a while it can kind of just meld together into a bunch of homogeneous banging sounds. TO BE CLEAR this aint hate, I actually really dig the textures and the vibe of it all. I just understand why someone would feel underwhelmed and get bored of it
