I can’t find the counter range anywhere will it accumulate up to 50k or only 100? I almost can’t believe that a tool used for counting in digital does not include this detail in the instructions. Ideocracy is not just a movie I guess.

That is weird. I just searched and don’t see anything either. Perhaps email the manufacturer? www.petra.com/about/contact-us

I have that same one. I have an 80 gallon fresh water tank on my RV and this meter indicates nearly 90 gallons when water starts coming out of the overflow. It's better it reads over rather than under as I also use one for the black tank side for fill and flush.

My thoughts exactly. Would rather be shy then overflow lol.

I purchased one and it measured 32 gal when I filled my 45 gallon fresh water tank. I purchased another one different brand and that one was accurate.

Yikes, it’s a shame we have to test things we buy before using them. Glad you did.

Oh yeah? Thanks for telling us which one was more accurate so we could avoid the inaccurate one.

The mistake was in your test procedure. Prior to testing you should have: 1) Opened the water flow valve to first flush the water line clear of all air and allow water to flow out. 2) Shut off the water flow valve. 3) Zero the P3 Meter just prior to measuring. In my opinion your testing was flawed due to air in the water hose flowing through the hose, not just water.

Hi Michael. That’s a good point. Although it looks like the water was instant on the video it was a small enough of a variance that air could have made the difference. I still have the same measured jug so I will test again this weekend. Thanks.

2.7 GALLONS Canadian = 2.5 GALLONS U.S. There's the difference. LOL

Hi Romeo Whiskey. Good point, when we measured the water container we used U.S. gallons since the water meter was U.S. gallons as well. Thanks 👍🏼
