Play along with Water of Tyne on the violin with parts at five different levels.
This part is suitable for students playing at roughly Grade Two level or above (or ABRSM’s Gold Music Medal), with extension suggestions in the practice notes for Grades Three-Four.
Water of Tyne is a song from North East England about being a young women separated by the river from the man she loves.
I've created this arrangement for my violin students to play-along to at home while schools closures prevent us from playing together in person.
Emily Stephenson is an instrumental tutor for Music Partnership North Northumberland in the UK.
