WATER POWERED!!! We AWOKE This OLD 1956 Sturm Hydraulic Elevator!!

You have not read the title wrong! This is a VINTAGE 1956 Sturm Elevator with a WATER POWERED hydraulic system!! The reason I say this is because the way this elevator runs & sounds is not like an ordinary piston pump elevator. There is also no hint of a smell of hydraulic fluid (to which older elevators with conventional hydraulic oil usually have)
This elevator had not been running for AT LEAST MANY YEARS before we stepped foot in this! I've come here a couple times before to attempt to turn this thing on, and it would have no sign of functionality, UNTIL NOW!
I wish we would've recorded our reactions when we heard the pump start up for the very first time... It was nothing but priceless!
