Hi, I've just had a Triton Aspirante 9.5 fitted, when the temp is on cold the pressure is above normal but as soon as i turn the heat up the pressure drops dramatically even on the cold button setting.. this is a replacement shower and i've never had an issue before..

My Plumber has just swapper a T80z for a T80+ Easi Fit. Have a "low Pressure" light/indicator when the shower is powered off. When I turn it on, the light/indicator disappears - I guess this means I have sufficient water pressure? Water is very hot when the temperature control knob is fully rotated clockwise, but the water flow is then pathetic. If I turn the temperature control knob anticlockwise past the "low pressure" light/indicator, the flow increases to a desirable amount, but the water runs cold. Here's the million dollar question - is my T80+ shower operating correctly? Any further tips on how to strike the best balance between temperature and flow?

Hi, the pressure indicator is attached to a mechanical arm which moves with the pressure of the water. When the shower is turned off this will be in a resting position and showing through the low pressure window. When the shower is turned on if you have enough pressure the arm will move and the indicator will move away from the window. This would sound to working correctly from your description. Regarding the flow rate our electric showers heat the water instantaneously. In turning the dial further to hot it will be restricting the water flow in order to allow more heating. And in turning it further to cold and allowing more water flow it will heat less causing a cooler temperature. However this is also effected by ambient water temperature coming into the shower, so you will find in winter you will get less flow as you will need to heat the water more to get a hotter temperature and in summer you will get a better flow as the water doesn't need as much heating. Kind regards, Leon.

@@TritonShowerswe have the exact same shower was used this morning at 6am and now at 10am there is no hot water at all coming out and can see a very dim light on the low pressure window. Checked the shower head for any blockages etc nothing. I think the quality of these showers are poor we have already had an engineer out for this shower 1 month after it was fitting for the same issues.

@TritonShowers I also agree that triton showers are poor then in that case if it believes at 30c it's operating at warm temp thus deminishig the hot water flow. Terrible. And that's a terrible answer and a cop out of one too as one would suggest that in the summer the cold water is primarily used and thus the flow isn't a problem, not the 30c.

My shower gives hot water and when I turn it to the coldest, it gives me like warm water not cold water

Yeah mine is also like this, absolutely sucks, after looking in the manual it seems like this shower doesn’t go colder than 30c which is still warm, ridiculous.
