Too much water in the container. It should fill up to the 10 ml line.

Thank you for your feedback! The 10 ml mark is just a guideline. It's fine to fill above it, as the excess water is displaced when the lid is on. We've designed it this way to make the process as simple as possible. Simply dip the Mini Pooltester directly into the pool for accurate results. Let us know if you have any more questions!
