How long does it take for the foam taste to go away in drinking water within you house?

I just started drilling with foam. Do you use any defoaming agent to take care of the surface mess or do you just let dissolve on its own?

We just let it dissolve on its own. It doesn't take long to dissolve and most of the time the water from drilling in the rock will help dissolve/move it out.
