Very much interested in that fish trap. The setup, how you built it and what it takes for fish to get used to it. I had to drain multiple time to get the fish out in emergency situations. Wasn’t ideal that’s for sure. Takes way too long to refill and the corals do not like it.

You ever verify your salinity and temp for the new water snd what is in the tank before you shoot it back in? One last crosscheck to make sure both match?

The fuzzy stuff could be crysophytes , I had it all over my Caribsea rocks, I don’t know why it happens, I thought maybe it’s something to do with the fused bacteria they pre put on rocks :) actually I’ve just looked it up on google and their is others using caribsea rocks with same stuff on their rocks

Hey what pump are you using to push the water to the tank, I made the hose real but I can't get enough pressure to push the water thru from my basement.??

From a basement you will Need a panworld with at least 40’ of head pressure
