I am so curious...I don't see your Daniel Smith watercolor palette linked, but I have tried some dot samples and LOVE how vibrant and transparent the watercolors are. Now that I am using betterpress, I want to play more with watercoloring as a medium. What is the palette you use and what is your opinion? Your watercoloring is gorgeous! I have other watercolors (Gansai Tambi, Tim Holtz distress pencils, and Altenew palette)...I just don't love my results. Any suggestions-is Daniel Smith worth the investment? I watch you lots, and find your work very inspiring! Thank you!!!

Danielle, thank you so much for your kind words. I have all of the same watercolor products you have listed except Altenew, and they all behave differently. I primarily use Canson XL watercolor paper, although the Spellbinders watercolor paper behaves very much like Canson XL. Hands down, Danielle Smith gives the most vibrancy and transparency.
