The serenity and calm mood in this scene is touchable. The gentle movements and transparency of the water are so real. I felt I was sitting in that boat, rocking gently as if nursing a baby . I am almost certain I could smell the sea . Breathtaking As I said before I never done watercolours but find you a blessing to others by conveying such peaceful feelings. Thank you, Maria! I can't even tell you how many times I've returned to this one video to study the layers in the water. It's a beautiful painting on it's own, but I have really enjoyed these lessons so much! I have a painting done in pastel that I want to do over in watercolor. My husband and I were out sailing during a trip to Florida.... I looked up and saw the morning sun shining though the rigging. The water just seemed to sparkle in the light. Can't wait to try it~

HI Shikha, thank you so much. Right now I paint with Holbein watercolors and I have created color swatches for my colors. I posted them on my Instagram @maria_morjane and on my patreon site www.patreon.com/mariamorjane Also for the water I normally just use turquoise, viridian hue, viridian, turquoise blue, marine blue, indigo... all pretty aqua blues :)
