Hello Cheryl, no rest for you during the holidays, oh you busy one !😍😍🤗 Loved your singing in the beginning (and rhyming isn't my thing), as it makes for such a charming entry into the video (honest truth)! You feature a lot of naughty animals in your card collection, in fact one third of your animals are caught in cheeky acts so far. First the squirrel, now the reindeers.....munching and nibbling at stuff that wasn't meant for them! But they are all so adorable and cutish, so all one can do is smile at them and offer them cookies and carrots, so they leave the gingerbread snowmans alone! Another beautiful addition for your collection and I do love reindeers (not because of Rudi which is in fact a mobbing story). I do hope you continue your story of 'The twelve days of Christmas' over the New Year cause it's such a lovely idea and this shouldn't be limited by seasons! Appreciate the after Christmas hug, but uh, I never hear that Rudi was a mobbing story. 🧐 The version we have about Rudolph (different character?) is Macy's Department Store wanted to make some advertising and so some guy created Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and just gave the rights to Macy's, and M took it and the story was wildly popular. I do believe that the manager of M said it was only right to give the original creator something back, so wow, I know nothing about it as a mobbing story. But nursery rhymes we both know are steeped in history, often of a negative nature. My fav if Peter Piper who had a wife a couldn't keep her.Oh boy! Salacious! So yes, I do plan to continue the line and next year i'll have my web site built and will be marketing what I have um worked so hard at creating. So sending you warm thoughts! Was scratching my head but did a bit of experimenting and wow, was sooo happy how the brown gouache-like thickness changed the color. I'll be using this technique again! I love gouache and now learning to use the Ecoline white ink similarly but would recommend it. The results can be quite different too -- cleaner for one! Always love your comments, Deirdre! 🤗🤗🤗

Oh boy, then fun fact ... you're missing out! And odd thing is I never realized it was a culture food but perhaps gingerbread is limited to the US and Northern Europe. If you dump ginger, brown sugar in a cookie dough, you'll be hitting close! 🤩🤗Well, kind of 🥰

Such a beautiful design and I agree sometimes you do need to go for an additional colour rather than mixing - sometimes you just can't get the vibrancy !! Also thanks for the detailed information about the paintbrushes. This is really helpful. My Silver Black Velvets have lasted for years, but then I treat them nicely, but I seem to remember that's also your brand. For my acrylics I just the cheap Korean local brand. Honestly, they don't shed, keep their shape and are really good! Happy thoughts for Year of the Tiger! 🤩

You know when I started I made a list of a ton of ideas and then did a SEO search to find the words that would be easiest to rank for (and that I was interested in painting). Can say what was next but outlining the ideas really helped with having uniformity. LOL, wish it helped with speed, but that's just "haha". And btw, if you ever play with watercolors, that metallic set is the best I've used. Hugs, my dear wonderful friend. Just two more days for this year and then on to new and hopefully bigger dreams! 🥰🤗🤩

I am thinking to try watercolor at sometime in 2022 and definitely this pretty golden color would be an addition in my supplies. So another day left for the new year.
