Beautiful. What watercolor paper did you use and how did you keep it from buckling?

Thanks for your question, I believe I used Canson XL for this particular painting, but I actually prefer to use Arches brand. This one didn’t buckle too much because the paper wasn’t super wet all at one time like it is when you paint a wash of color. But if you’re worried about it buckling you can tape it down with some artist tape and that can help a little too. Thanks for watching and commenting today! Happy painting. 😊

They are tube paint. The brand is M. Graham and Co. Well, to be honest I didn’t really have a certain type of leaf in mind for the middle leaves. 🤷‍♀️ But if I had to put a name to it, they remind me a bit of Eucalyptus leaves. As for the small berries, I also didn’t have a specific type in mind. 😊 Thanks for watching!

Yes, I am planning on putting some Christmas outlines on Etsy in hopefully a month or two. I will also be making some in card sizes, like 4x6 and 5x7 so people can create Christmas cards if they like. I’ll try to announce when I’ve got those ready for purchase. Thanks for your interest! Sorry about the music, a lot of my earlier tutorials do have some annoying music, but I have since tried to improve that. (Unfortunately once as it’s uploaded I can’t change it.)
