Really a nice masterpiece Tim. Rosa's photo is beautifull but you add some magic light in it. A sort of charm in the spirit of Trevor Chamberlain.

I am always amazed to see a photo turn to a impressive art of work in fabulous colors. Your movement of a brush is also an art.

WoW First time I have seen your paintings. Got to say - That's an amazing finished paining, I was watching an thought what's he doing with all the darks, it going to mess up lol with all the fidgety brushstrokes. I was amazed as it transformed, and learnt a lot from watching. Thank you

Thank you very much! Most of mine look dodgy half way through, but they sort of come good towards the end

Beautiful painting Tim. I wish that I had been allowed the time for my own skills to develop to the point where I could have been proud of my work. That's not going to happen. In the past you have given me some good advice so I wanted to take this last opportunity to thank you and since I have no other way to reach you I must do it like this please forgive me but I don't know how much time I have left the doctor tells me I don't have long so I wanted to get it done so thank you Tim

Nice demo Tim, this one made me think some (haha). The foreground is the action area, so everything else must not compete with that. How best to handle the bridge and buildings since they reside in the far middle plane, this seems the key design consideration. The eye shouldn't give both areas equal weight. I think I'll paint this scene in several ways to sort it out in my mind. Thanks again, cheers!

Thank you for this wonderful demo. I love the way you paint and the colours you use, and the explanations are really helpful as well. Just a question: which flat brush have you used here? Thanks again!

Hi, great work... Maybe a beginner question, but why are the reflections of the boats not the same color as the boates?
@TimWilmot7 ай бұрын
Good question! The colour of reflection is a bit darker than the object they are reflecting
