I have a LOT of the Signo Dx in various sizes. For whatever reasons, on the three types of papers I've used...the water picks up the ink and moves it, muddying the watercolor, although only slightly...it's enough to see that's what happened.. I've also tried the pilot G-Tec C4 and the same thing happened. So now, when I waterpaint, I use the Uni Jetstream and I LOVE it. It may look like a ballpoint, and act like a ballpoint, but it writes like a Gel pen. So, I switch over to it if I plan on using watercolor (usually the switch occurs in my daily journal because more and more I use watercolor to add interest to my amateur drawing. Thanks for posting this...gave me some great ideas!

Gorgeous as ALWAYS, CeeCee!!! Between surgery, chemo/radiation and COVID in 2020, like so many other people, I found myself in a horrible state of depression. I stopped painting and drawing all together, not realizing just how important those early morning hours I spent with you, were to my mental and physical well being. Here I am today, facing yet another surgery this coming Tuesday but this time I refuse to give up so easily, something I now know, is such a vitally important part of my life. You taught me how to paint, you have read and responded to my rambling words, you have pushed me to do and be better "FOR MYSELF", so that I may be better for those around me that I love so dearly and as always you have pushed me to be more creative in EVERYTHING I do. Though I am not up at 4:00 am on my lanai, slamming down a pot of coffee before the sun even rises over the horizon any more, my supplies are never farther than a quick stretch away. Thank you for such an awesome gift CeeCee!!! From the very first binge session I spent when I first found you, up to today, I feel seriously blessed. Please keep doing what you do and I pray even more people are inspired by you, to pick up pen and paintbrush ànd find the freedom you have given me!!! 💚 💛 💜 ur videos, with your patient nudging to be brave and to be free flowing as well as imaginative with our art were my refuge!!

Yay! More CeeCee Sunday fun. I’m getting braver mixing colors and found a lovely green recipe: the Quin. Gold + Ultramarine Blue (D Smith). Also, added a bit of the Cadence Green to my piece - I’m indebted to you for showing us that amazing color; I call it dancing green for the way it changes on my paper😀.
