Michelle after 70 years with full blown ADHD I can not swatch my paints but this thing you do with choosing and swatching your limited pallet by painting is perfect and life changing for me...thank you so much.

There's an artist from down under, who has a young kitten. Well she had said kitten in her studio, and the brief clip we had of it playing with the end of a brush was quite comical. Made even finnier by the simple fact that Louise was trying to paint with at the time. Gotta love kittens. My wife has 3 cats. More than I could handle, that's for sure. Any Michele, it's so good to see you using brushes to good effect again. It's been a while, thank you. TTFN.

It’s always fun to watch how your techniques bring your paintings to life. Such definition in the details, shading shadows, and figuring out how & why you choose the specific colors for this flower is very interesting. You explain things in such a wonderful simple way to understand. for us to be successful. Thanks so much for sharing this step by step video with us. A gorgeous painting!

Really helpful. You made a really lovely picture from a subject/photo I wasn't too enamored with. I've realised I'm not taking enough time and not persisting! I also thought Gimlet meowing was one of mine but they'd had their treats and had settled down!

A great tutorial, thank you! This is a lovely painting. I believe I might finally have enough basic skills and the confidence to get a decent result. I really like being privy to your pre-painting thoughts and planning, and your instructions and demonstration is easy to follow! I can't wait to give this a go, although I currently have some pet projects in the works. But I think having this one on the side would be a nice, in-between relief from painting all that fur. (Mer-owww, Gimlet! Tell Michelle that at the end of her videos she should show us your critique of her tutorial/painting!)

Thank you so much for your detailed and accessible instruction. And especially for your calm and confident encouragement. I took a crack at this and botched it terribly, but had quite a lot of fun in the process and am better for it. Thank you! ❤️

I love when you said the limited palette is meant to serve you not restrict you. I’ve been dabbling in the practice and a recent painting came out so harmonious because of it!! But I felt like I cheated when I added an unintended color. Your comment on this helped me realize that’s okay as a rule! Yahoo! I thought it was a risky business but perhaps not. 😊

Hello Michele, This is a lovely painting! Without a bold background, could you do this painting with lost and found edges? I am new to your channel and wonder if you have any KZbin videos that instruct on how to do lost and found edges effectively? I would like to learn this technique. Thank you for all of your lovely and helpful instruction.

Hello so interesting but how long does it take in real time to paint the flower ? I always seem to rush everything, and try and paint in the time it has taken to watch the clip.
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber Жыл бұрын
This one was fairly fast, but there's no time limit. It depends on the artist too and the style. Don't rush, take as long for each part as you need. There's no wrong amount of time to take.
