I’m a long time fan and a dedicated viewer of your videos. You are one of the main reasons why I picked my brushes up again and started painting. My best friend, who was my best friend for 28 years, suddenly passed away and his passing really struck me deeply and I shut down. We played music together nearly every single night from the first time we met each other. He passed and I haven’t been able to touch any of my instruments and I haven’t touched any of my brushes. I completely shut down. Until I stumbled across your videos. I watched them for about a month and then something woke up inside me and I began to feel that old familiar urge to create landscape scenery of places that only exist in my imagination. But since it had been such a long time, my paintings were clumsy and rushed and I got very frustrated and had almost resigned myself to just putting everything away for good. But I kept watching your videos and noticed how patient and calm you were while painting and remembered how patience and calmness were really the key to truly finding the joy and satisfaction of creating art. So I picked my brushes up again and I slowed down and took deep long breaths and just let the paint flow through the water and before I realized it, I had once again found joy and I looked upon one of the best paintings that I’ve ever done. Thank you, my friend for helping me and for sharing your art with all of us!! Peace and Love to you, my friend!!

A couple of years or so later using watercolours and I still consider myself a beginner. I’m a practising one, but a beginner all the same….. so as a beginner, I thank you so much for sharing how you build up your masterpieces. If I try, in stages, I’m sure I could attempt having a go at this. I doubt I’ll achieve anything quite as neat and beautiful as yours but you inspire me to try and as a beginner, I appreciate that so much. As a grass roots beginner, I would have been full of gratitude to you for sharing your amazing talents but I’d have realised if and when the techniques used in your work were too advanced for me and either had art lessons or searched for beginner tutorials which I could follow. I certainly wouldn’t have questioned why you put “beginners” in the title of your video. Once again, thank you for sharing and inspiring this beginner, who will master your techniques one day 😊

Beginners often turn into talents 😉 Practice every day 🎨😌

You can do this!
@ladyhecate94509 ай бұрын
I agree. I admit a beginner can learn something by watching, but the word "beginner" means exactly that...a beginner who needs some guidance as well as colors used. I would be wasting my time in trying to attempt this in my stage of painting. I would be better off doing research and finding artists who explain what they are doing and the colors used. I agree in practicing every day but a beginner needs guidance and instructions for them to then go and practice everyday. One cannot practice what one does not understand. This is a beautiful painting but it is not for Beginners.

Copying a small painting like this is not difficult, and you can learn a lot from it
@alheeley9 ай бұрын
@@Palatinate-o5d For a beginner, copying a simpler painting to yield good results that you are pleased with really boosts the learning curve and your own motivation. This is a quite complex painting, it is beautiful but as a beginner following this leads to disappointment, frustration and lack of motivation. I'm a firm believer in learning to walk before you can run. Theres a lot of techniques a beginner has to get their heads round before appreciating how to tacke the more advanced layers of technique used in this.

Upon seeing the thumbnail of this artwork, it appeared incredibly lifelike - just like your reference image. Fantastic job, Javid! After completing my paintings, the following day, I capture a photograph of my artwork using my iPhone. Subsequently, in the Photos app, I utilize the "Retouch" feature to eliminate any undesirable blemishes. I document these digital adjustments and then proceed to apply the same corrections to my actual painting. This method proves to be an excellent approach for achieving a highly realistic painting without excessive refinement. Great work, again!

Beautiful paintings do you add white watercolour or gouache to get your opaque colours x

I was wondering this too. It's very opaque which would suggest gouache but I don't know for sure.

I’ve watched in admiration many of his tutorials. I’ve asked on many if he uses gouache or opaque watercolors, but he never responds. I am not a beginner by any means and I would not consider this beginner friendly. This is not a tutorial with any instruction, nor are any of his videos. It’s just watching an artist paint in a sped up version.
@kforest27459 ай бұрын
See that’s the thing breaking up a picture into parts by light and dark and blending it all. I guess you learn that ahead of time about layering
@CastleMc9 ай бұрын
Watercolor or gouache? I don't believe this is watercolor because in watercolor you can't completely change your mind on what colors to paint big sections, and you don't paint light areas and highlights last as you do in every other paint media and this artist does here. In watercolor you have to essentially paint light to dark because it is transparent. Also, there is no white paint in watercolor.
@sherlynn72119 ай бұрын
I am guessing it is the Naples Yellow that he uses for the lighter highlights :) I have used yellows that are opaque for highlighting, has to be done when paint is dry though. Oh, and yes there is white paint in watercolor,, there is chinese white, as well as titanium white :)
