Thank you so much for not talking/playing anything in this video; it was speedy, skillful and silent. I can't tell you how much useless/frustrating commentary I hear in these videos. It was lovely to watch you paint.

Old Holland watercolors on Arches 140 lb paper. Water makes things look very smooth and even--you just have to work very quickly or do a few layers, making sure they have time to dry before adding more.

Incredibly meticulous work! :) Great job!

If you have single sheets of watercolor paper, use masking tape to tape it to a wooden board to keep it from lifting. Alternatively you can buy water color "blocks" which are like sketchbooks with wax binding on all 4 sides so you only have access to the top page and then you peel the page off when you are done. The binding on all sides keeps the paper from lifting as well.

how do you control your colors wet into wet? do you soak some water out of the brush? If i do that I just get a mess everywhere, and if i try to move paint around on the paper I just get backwashes and everything but not what I want.
