I'm so happy to be back! I haven't painted since Xmas. I had a stress heart attack! But I'm back and feeling great. This is my first painting since. A little rusty, but I love pansies. Good practice piece. Thank you!

Thanks for another video. Always enjoyable and fun. I really appreciate that you go through everything step by step and broken down super easy even for my super beginner self. I always try to remember it's just paint and just a piece of paper. Even if I just enjoy watching the colors mix and bleed then I'm a happy girl. Have a great night!

Thank you, Ellen! Pansies have always been my favorite flower since my dad let me help him with our garden when I was a child. I've been trying to figure out how to paint them on my own with no luck, so thank you for this excellent tutorial.

Thank you for making this simple. I don't draw well and I got a book that made it so complicated. Pansies are one of my favorite flowers. This is a great practice for water control.

These are the prettiest little flower's I think I've ever seen, I love them. You make it look so easy too. But for me not so much. I cant seem to paint a flower or anything else. Know matter what brush, or paint I buy, Everything looks like crap. Im going to keep on trying, Because I've spent way too much money on everything, To just give up. I think I have my best chance, watching your video's though, I like the way you just baby step our way through. And my next brush im wanting, And will buy, Is the Princeton Velvettouch Long Round, Im sure It comes blessed with the talent I need to finally paint a flower. It's gonna be a game changer, I just know it!!!😊

You really inspired me to try my hand again at flowers. I generally suck or don't have the patience. I found some round paper and it turned out pretty amazing! Thanks for coming up with content that inspires.
@jngbialek2 жыл бұрын
My round paper was cellulose - so I didn't bleed in color like this, but it was ok for layering and shading - I guess you just need to know what the paper is capable of when you get started!

Thank you Ellen for mentioning the Princeton Velvet Touch series brushes. I’ve bought a couple and am enjoying them very much. The brush is excellent! Not to snappy or soft, just right, and the handle finish is amazing. I don’t know what they put on those handles for finishing but it feels awesome in my hands. Blessings to you!

I show u how to paint them and then show how to add marks in between u see me fill the page to watch me paint the whole thing is redundant and would be a much looonger video 😀

@CathyGoff-f8y4 ай бұрын
My bleeds are not good, but I confess that my paper is not 100% cotton. Just for practice I used something else. Hopefully, if I use better paper, my paintings will look better. Otherwise, I might be hopeless.
