Huge fan of the leaf series, re-watching.... Thank you for the knowledge! Now, for me...practice-practice-practice. I'm kinda obsessed with watercolor strawberries 🍓atm. I have huge respect for the artist that use watercolor to document flora, for me, I love the loose look as I sketch in my journal. When an unexpected color jumps in...that watercolor-magic💥excitement. 🙇 You are appreciated!

Thanks for your videos! I’ve painted for awhile but I need these basics badly! AND THANK YOU FOR NOT HAVING A SPOTLESS PALETTE! You removed soo much guilt 👍🏼. I must be type B also. Simple but informative and effective video. I liked parsley leaves the most from the video. Leaf or floral work on this channel has been my favorite always. The best part for me was the use of loose painting technique and different shades of leaves. I would love to see a tutorial on maple leaves. I really like the subjects chosen in video and also the sequence of execution. Also can we have a floral series after the leaf series? Keep up the good work Jenna and John :D

You are a REALLY good teacher. I like how you take the time to very slowly show us how to achieve the desired result with color, water amount, and angles and pressure of brushes. The is wonderful! Thank you so much. Can you teach us how to do a water lily with green lily pad? (I know it's not an herb, but it has interesting petals and a completely unique leaf) :)

Hi Jenna ! First of all, I LOVE YOUR WORK ! Second of all, would you happen to know how I can purshase your Princeton brushes in France because Amazon doesn't deliver them here. Thanks a lot, and please continue what you are doing because it's amazing !

Hi Astrid! Thank you so much for the love and support!! Getting brushes in France... Hmmm... I don't know what big art supply stores are in France, but Princeton is a pretty big brand, you should be able to find them in a major art supply store. If not there and not Amazon, I'm not exactly sure...

Love your leaf videos! Am total beginner, so they were very helpful! Now it’s all about practicing them! One question... if I want to make tiny leaves, do I use a smaller brush? Thanks so much for your wonderful teaching!

Thanks for the feedback, Mette! If I am painting much smaller leaves, yes, I would go down to a size 2 brush.

SO. I have the Stonehenge aqua paper but it is too pricey for me to practice on so I have been using some cold pressed from winsor-newton. however I am having the same issue with both which is - even if I LOAD up my brush with pigment and water when I put brush to paper it just doesnt lay down! I have to go over it a few times... it almost is like it has a waved surface. I dont have this issue with cartridge paper... although I know that is stinky to use. Is it the texture? Nothing looks smooth and it all looks ragged :( Please help, from London
