It's simply incredible to watch you change a flat pencil sketch into a furry live animal. Layer upon layer you are relentless! I was going to try to paint your wolf but after watching you I know it takes practice and skills that I don't have as a beginner watercolorist. Kudos to you Maria. Keep doing what you're doing, being an inspiration to others to keep practicing.

Hi the past 3 videos I've noticed you use white. I have been told not to use white when using watercolours is this correct? x

Hi Joanne, there's no rule in watercolor, there are different styles of painting. Old school would say use only white paper as your medium but when you paint you want to be creative and not limit yourself. You would never be able to get this effect if you didn't use white. I do both use paper as white/medium and I use white. I do old school and my own style. It depends what I am painting. It's all about being creative and experimenting so don't limit yourself Have fun!
