🤩🤩 I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I learned a lot from this series and I'm making a brush set that is better suited for this style. Sometimes the current watercolor kit feels too smooth and consistent 🤔

Calvin! I love this! I’ve had several compliments on my art piece. Just a side note, my family has recently been evacuated due to one of the fires in Northern California. We are safe and so far our house still stands but are unable to move back home yet. I find that all of your tutorials calm me and I am very thankful for this piece in particular. Please don’t ever stop sharing your gift. Thank you, Mary Elizabeth.

Awww, thank you so much! I'm honored that I can help you with your artwork and creative meditations. Painting brings me a lot of peace as well. I highly recommend printing your artwork and keeping everything in an album - I find it really helps me stay inspired when I can see a pile of previous artworks 😂 Wishing you well and a safe return to your home, -Cal

Thank you for revisiting this technique. I want to try this as well. I’m a newbie, so this one felt a little fast to follow, but I do think with stopping the video often I’ll be able to figure it out. I love this style.

Thank you so much :] I've always struggled with the pace of the videos...it's kind of a balance between creating a video that is inspirational or creating one that is more informational. I try not to go back and forth too much, so hopefully it's easy to pause and play the video after each step.

So beautiful ! Thank you for the free brush 😊 . Can I ask for a tip as when do we supposed to use the curve instead of changing the brightness like usual ?
@calvinatdrifterstudio84383 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much :] I use the Curves when I need a very gentle way to lighten the colors. For example, I will use it when I want to make something looks thinner or more delicate/ transparent. I will use the Brightness adjustment when I want to make something look brighter and more intense. It's good for sunny highlights and high-contrast scene where things need to be so bright, they are getting 'blown out'. It's good for simulating very direct sunlight.

Is this an Ipad Pro 11" or 12,5"?
@calvinatdrifterstudio84383 жыл бұрын
Hi! This is iPad pro 12.9 from 2021. Personally, I do not recommend this iPad becuase it's too large! I have to use it because I'm filming and it works better for that. If I just wanted an iPad for making artwork...I would use the 11" iPad from 2019/2020. Even the iPad Pro from 2018 is great, I just had issues with the screen being glitchy. My 12.9" 2018 iPad had that stage-light effect that make the backlight uneven. If you go for an older used iPad, I really don't recommend the 12.9" sizes becuase ALL of them have issues that develop over time. The smaller screens are just more durable and harder to bend.

Hello! I love your videos and I’m new with procreate, where can I find these watercolours brushes? Are they paid or free? Thanks!
@calvinatdrifterstudio84382 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much 🥰 The brushes are paid and available in my Etsy store, however if you can't afford them please message me on the Etsy store and I can send them as a gift 💖 Sales in my shop help support the channel but I don't want it to be limited or anything because each person has their own personal situation.
