Thank you, thank you. It's pretty remarkable how you turned a rather prosaic street scene into such a beautiful tone poem at twilight. Indeed, the twilight colors (after rain?) really make it work. A couple weeks ago I spent hours looking at the wonderful Cezanne Drawing exhibition now at the MoMA in NYC, and it inspired me to return to watercolor and drawing after a 45-year absence. It's coming back to me. Perhaps this is the rest of my life.

My master says not to use the white colour in watercolour. It destroys the transparency and naturity of the painting, he also says not use the black colour!!

I notice that you are using a block and taped at the edges. I use 140 lb. cold press Arches paper. no stretching needed right.Great work learn a lot from watching your posts. Great work.

I liked the gauche white highlights, but I don’t understand why the taillights on the parked cars are on. The wheels came and went three times. The windows on the first right side building came and went twice. I don’t get all that. Definitely left a strong tone.

Absolutely gorgeous. Curious, you chose to detail the automobiles, but the trees and buildings were less so. Is that because they were in the forefront? I've observed in watercolor art, some things are chosen to be more detailed than others. I'm just curious as to the choices.
