This was inspiring to watch. As an illustrator, I tend to overwork my watercolors quite a bit, so I’ve always very very much admired artists who demonstrate so much freedom with their painting techniques. It’s something I’m trying to break out of. It’s absolutely amazing how much personality your brushstrokes convey with just two brushes, fabulous!

Wonderful portrait. I like how you show your palette to match the shot as you apply your brush to the page. I'm always amazed at how you gauge your colours. I paint in oils and the colour I put down is the colour it is when dry. You have the added artistic demand of having gauge the darker, wet colour as to what it will be when dry. Gauging your tones in that scenario is truly impressive. Bravo! I love your channel; your videos are interesting and soothing all at once. 👍👍

My goodness! What a masterpiece : ) Absolutely smashed by the beauty of this artform and your skill and the way your eyes SEE the photograph.. BLOWN away : ) I must confess that my mind got a bit upset in moments of the video like from 4:22 to 4:26 when we suddenly see the nose and lips and smile line area suddenly have so much intricate detail. Amazing! You make it look so easy. I tried watercolor Once. And only wants. Lol I all bank and I don't have any problems controlling that Medium but the water, the watercolor has a mind of its own. I could not control best medium. Watercolor since I've got older fascinates me. It is just so beautiful. And people like you has mastered it. Makes me more try my hand at it again. Ich mag diese realistische, oder Natur getreu Malerei nicht, es widerspricht mein Verständnis der Kunst, der Maler als Interpret oder Katalisatosrs seines Umfelds, aber hier die Malerin, nehme ich an hat sehr schön Prinzipien der Farbenlehre gekonnt angewendet, hell dunkel Kontrast, das Gestalten der Schattenpartien mit Kühler Farbe gegenüber warmen Tönen. Ferner die ausgezeichnete zeichnerische Fertigkeit und diese Begabung Farbigkeit wahrzunehmen und zu wiedergeben... Alles in Einem sehr schön... Toll den Prozess verfolgen zu dürfen.... Wie schön ist es, nicht mit einem Redeschwsll überschwemmt zu werden.. Großes Danke schön! ❤❤❤
