There are a lot of artists on KZbin who paints photorealistically but I would prefer to learn this kind of technique instead. I always admire artists like you sir where each brushstrokes simply come to life without having to put too much detail in the picture but still capture the subject beautifully and realistically.
@SoumilSahu

Check out Peter draws. He doesn't do paintings, but it's essentially what you said. He keeps drawing seemingly random lines, and out comes a piece making you feel it was planned to look that way from the start
@milestiller665
@milestiller665 5 жыл бұрын
Soumil Sahu Peter Draws is great, yet I feel his style is almost an exact opposite of this. He focuses a lot of line and form whereas Mr Shibasaki emphasizes color and feeling. I admire both of them greatly. I feel that Peter Draws uses his random lines technique as simply an idea starter rather than a philosophy to live by.
@SoumilSahu

@@SoumilSahu That's what is so great about. People can see beauty in anything. One person may find Mr. Shibasaki's watercolor paintings as the pinnacle of beauty, and another may find Peter Draws'. It's all up to interpretation.

Your paint or brush is most likely too wet, really wet watercolor mixes incredibly easily. Another reason may be that you're making too many strokes in a small area/stroking too frequently. Yoir issue may have a different cause but for me 90% of the time the problem is one of the above
