That’s so amazing- I’d be so worried about capturing every detail but then that might complicate it and get in the way of capturing the overall silhouette/“feel” of the location

I also paint real-life location or places painting but currently from photograph. I can understand how difficult would it be paint it LIVE! Photograph is almost 2D while LIVE is almost 3D. This tutorial will not only help me to paint but also motivate me to do LIVE painting, wherever possible.
ah its so relieving whenever i see you paint something without all the little clean lines and details and its so beautiful... really helps to remind me that I shouldn't be stressing about every detail to make something good
It’s a great painting. I’m impressed by your lack of fear when it comes to imperfect lines and adding objects that cut right through the rest of the painting. Those are somethings I’m still working on, thank you for inspiring me :D
Buildings and scenes outside always seem so intimidating, but less so now! Thank you!

I tend to be way too serious with paintings and I nitpick a lot with lines, I should really take some notes to not sketch too much. Your painting is so relaxing to look at!

Thanks again for sharing your experience of painting. Its really helpful to see how you trqnsfer the real view into a art. Its intereing to see how you think during painting and what colours you choose to using.
Thank you. I always put too much detail trying to make things look more realistic and find it takes away from the work. I will practice this. The painting looks very peaceful.

Your composition ending with the cool shadows across the warm road really anchored the detailed building and gave the eye a place to rest before going back to the contrasting lights and darkseid and pink candy colors. I could feel the banners fluttering. Your smile delights me. I will step some tea and rewatch!

It's very interesting that Mr Shabasaki shares his life philosophy to the youngsters, other than teaching painting.

I’ve always avoided landscapes but your tutorial was very patient and built upon the scene piece by piece and was easy to follow.
It is a lovely painting and captures the spirit of the place. Painting outdoors from life as the sun starts it’s decent is the best. I have painted many years but not with watercolors. Watching you create such magic with the medium I am now starting a new journey with watercolors. Thanks for sharing your expertise and being such an inspiring and patient teacher.

Watching Shibasaki-san painting is pure wisdom, looking at the main topic of what you're painting and the atmosphere around it's an awesome tip, it makes painting fun as it should be and not stressing as when you focus in details, and besides he takes his time for his snack, thank you Shibasaki-san.

Sir, I do enjoy your comments about young Yuval, the singer. And think like you that music and painting are inseparable because both are ART. Who love one, loves all Art expressions. As for today's painting, the old castle has to say that I watched the video (this and many others) a few times to understand how you simplify drawing, and that's my biggest difficulty. I need to learn and practice synthesis to improve my paintings, which end up being hard, lifeless, very informative and above all very realistic. Thank you very much to share your knowledge. Best regards Sonia, Brazil🇧🇷

I have less time to watch videos theses days, i have a lot to watch now. Thank you very much for your good work Shibasaki-san, takes care of yourself !
Watching pops paint buildings like its nothing is really impressive, just sitting in a corner of a street to paint is just enough to make me shrivel up and disappear. Ahh firetrucks, anyway pops do take care of yourself and goodluck on your painting exhibition in the 20th of January. As always pops do stay hydrated and healthy!! 💓👌👍👋🌚
