I love watercolour paintings so much, they are like magic! But I am also very afraid of them. It was stunning just how much you trust them, the colour seems to spread at random, but then although you let it move freely but still you also seem to have control over it, and are able to make it all look great in the end. Ohhhhh.... I wish I could master them like that one day!

Light, delicate enough to portray the translucency of poppies, without loosing form and shape. Very clever. You must have studied them for so long to appreciate their beauty. Watched it so many times already and still amazed. Thank you for sharing - really enjoyable: not relaxing as so frenetic, but then I presume your ideal is to work quickly and loose and portray that energy to your students. Hey, got the message - will try!

I am a complete newbe to watercolor painting.. took my first class last weekend.. This is stunning to watch you work.. The painting I did at the class took me 6 hours to paint... It turned out great but I left thinking,, when do I have time to spend 6 hours on a painting. This style makes more sense to me.
