Another excellent presentation, Patricia, and while I enjoy hearing your discussion, it was just as nice to watch when you went into speed-up mode. Lovely work and thank you! :)

What a lovely way for me to end my Monday...your videos are so relaxing Patricia! I actually like the second one better...I think because all the trees stay a lighter green...in the first version, it seemed like the painting was weighted to the left with all your darker colors there if that makes any sense. And I love love love the whistler as a subject. It's such a seemingly small thing to strike up a conversation with a stranger, but what a richer world it is to talk and share life with the people around us!

A very interesting video - many thanks for continuing to take us with you on your journey of discovery in the watercolour medium. I'm sure I recall one of your earlier videos where you had problems with softening edges on cellulose paper and I think you concluded that 100% cotton paper would help in that respect. Well it certainly looks as if it did the trick, as there are some very nicely softened edges in today's painting. Best wishes, Brian.

Thanks for watching Brian, and thanks for noticing those soft edges!
