Love that you actually do artwork on your channel. Sick of seeing youtubers claiming to be artists, being gifted with hundreds of pounds worth of materials only to just swatch them. Theres no skill or creativity involved whatsoever.

This is a beautifully done sketchbook project, well done! I love your previous sketchbook project with butterflies too, so lovely. What has been your source material? Researching each one online individually or scientific books? I've been collecting source material for a project as well, sometimes correct refs are half the battle.

Thank you, Yes I used several different sources of reference material, old books, online images, and a butterfly identification chart, best to find reference material that's to scale too, the books and chart were used to get the size, scale and shape, and online images to get the life like colours

@@smoothie77drawingpainting that's great! It is part of the process and quite satisfying when everything comes together. It would be fun to do something similar with fungi, but that could be an endless project 😄

I already have , I've bought plenty of their sketchbooks, not only for myself but as gifts for other people because they are so good, in fact I they are the best sketchbooks I've ever used. The brushes, yes I would certainly buy those again, the watercolours I would be more incline to by them if they sold them as open stock, but as it stands now, I would say no I wouldn't have bought them with my own money, not because there's anything wrong with them (other than the burnt sienna) but because I prefer to by my watercolours in tubes and not half pans, and don't need that many colours, but with that said, if anyone asked me for a nice set of 24 half pans, I would quite happily recommend these.
