I especially love this particular video of yours because I used to live in South Africa as a child.

Great sketchbook review, reminds me of when we'd watch our familys videos of their vacation trips when we'd get together for family dinners on sundays....

Taria, I've been watching a lot of your videos lately and have learnt a lot from you. As a South African I so enjoyed seeing your beautiful drawings and paintings of our country. I did not realize you stay in Sout Africa! Your pronounciation of the place names are quite good. Thank you for sharing! 🇿🇦

Wonderful sketches of what seems to have been a wonderful time. I don't often sketch from my car but yours are encouraging, and sometimes working from a photo is just what you have to do to get anything at all.

Gorgeous sketches... I especially loved the birds spread after your visit to the Birds of Eden Avery. That place looks magical. And, "... Duncan's broken chicken wing," 🤣 😂

What a great series of sketches, nice to have the memories of that time in your life. I do also like a water brush. Sometimes they get a bad rap. Take care.

I have been looking forward to seeing your honeymoon sketches. There are so many amazing pages in her it is hard to know which to comment on but I do like how vibrant you can get your paintings. Is this from the watercolour or the Inktense mainly? I am also intrigued to see the rest of what is in the other sketchbook aswell! 🤞 Thanks for sharing, it's made me want to visit a part of the world I had never really considered before. 🙌

Hi Taria, in your S&B beta sketchbook I see you flicking through the book and there are no blank pages. Are the pages so thick that you can paint on both sides? Or do you stick the pages together? Beautiful way to capture your honeymoon.
@tarias_sketchy_adventures Жыл бұрын
Im sorry for my ridiculously late reply Sue....the pages are very thick actually, you can 100% sketch on both sides. Event he S&B sketchbooks with thinner pages are fine to sketch and use watercolour on both sides

Your ads show a hard copy book. Any chance this is in hard copy? I mostly use a Kindle (black and white), so art books don't work well. Also, I really prefer non-fiction books in a hard copy format...
@tarias_sketchy_adventures2 жыл бұрын
@@maryhazlett Hi Mary - the ad shows a hard copy just to make it clear its a book I'm talking about but unfortunately the costs to make a hard copy book are extremely high and just not something I can do. So the book is an ebook. Its PDF format so its lovely to look at on a computer screen, and looks particularly great on a tablet. I agree it wouldn't be worth looking at on a black and white kindle screen. It works perfectly well on a smartphone screen too...you may just have to zoom into certain bits. I hope that helps.
