I recommend your channel to anyone intrested in getting into custom loops, you explain things so clearly.

Thank you for your comment 🙏 I sincerely appreciate hearing that. I try my best to simply show anything worth showing (which ends up being almost everything), as clear and as close as possible. I heard the earlier criticism about my pacing (way too fast) and narration (not good in general) and making improvements and seeing positive feedback has been rewarding. I plan to continue to do my best to improve with each video and there are a lot of videos waiting to be made. Thanks again for watching

Thanks for your comment 🙏I sincerely appreciate your comment. I try my best to de-mystify the whole process. I am deep in the forest here, trying to find my way to the other side, so hearing positive comments from above really helps. I have more content coming and I'm doing my best to make improvements with each video. Thanks again

Yeah if you suddenly get spikes in viewership, it’s probably me rewatching how you did something. Again, I appreciate all that you’re doing. Love the external rad setup as that’s the way I went for my current build

I absolutely see sudden spikes in viewership on this video. I do look at the data all the time.

Thanks for the video! There are a lot of details in small details, for example, the mount I need for the HEATKILLER IV for AM5 is shown in all details, and the HEATKILLER Tube is a basic mount. Huge respect for such high-quality videos!!

The plastic part that makes it easier to apply thermal paste is removed after the paste. You closed it on the heatsink, my friend.. 2:07 :)

I recently assembled a configuration that is very similar to this one. I'm eager to see how you managed to activate the EXPO profiles of the RAM, as I have been unable to do so on my end. AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D Asus ProArt X670E Creator Wifi NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Asus TUF OC Edition G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO (2x32) x2 (total of 4 dimm sticks) DDR5 6000 CL32-38-38-96 1.40 V
@vectornetwork6 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment 🙏 I have also not been able to run my 2 kits in EXPO. It's why I listed the 6000MT sticks as 4800MT. It's because I bought the 64 GB kit at 6000 and then bought another kit to bring it to 128. The kits are not designed to do that and sometimes it may work but not in this case. The way to do it is to look on the QVL and find a 32x4 kit that is verified. I haven't checked, but any kits that show up will likely be at a slower speed. I think some more speed can be manually overclocked, but its tradeoff for having more memory. The speed is lower. Hope that helps

Wow, the mounting system of the heatkiller cpu block is vastly superior than my crappy barrowch cpu block.
@CapaNoisyCapa3 ай бұрын
Can confirm that. Barrow and Bykski AM5/4 cpu blocks mounting are atrocious. Some basic mods like precise measuring, new springs, washers and screws are mandatory imho. I'd strongly suggest some, uhmm... "dubious" ghetto mods for semi-serious benching if running a 5800X3d with a "broken" IMC like mine or trying to run +2000Mhz IF/RAM 1:1 on a good 5950x. My loop is 4x360 rads, TUF 3090 shunt modded with Bykski block and active back plate, Lowara D5. All essential mods can be easily found on forums, reddit, etc. with tons of pics and detailed instructions. I will not comment on the performance of Barrow blocks with Intel LGA1700. I tested for an hour on a 10900K, so I can only guarantee that the mounting is not exactly fun, like most entry-level blocks from traditional brands. Judging by reports on forums such as ocn, hardwareluxx, TPU, hwbot and others, the thermal performance is also similar to these so-called blocks mentioned above. IceMan blocks are so much better. Those that aren't made by Barrow I mean... (: AFAIK, all Barrow CPU blocks share the same thermal design and manufacture process. The AegirX Store is selling some Barrow blocks costing well over $120, while the cheapest proper, real IceMan block is $83. It's selling a lot considering it's $160 for RGB, a tiny screen and $25 mounting/performance. Hard pass for me. Sure, there is a new block made by Barrowch with a different brand (SuperCool) name that's $77 and beats the CT3. 🙃 I'll wait and see if they sell an Alpha Core 1 for $129 again. AliExpress is wild!

How did you get the rubber vibration screws from the basic mount? Mine came with them installed in the mount but I can’t figure out if you have to knock them out or screw them out 😂

Sorry but what is biocide brand you have used? Is it good to use for long time?
@vectornetwork4 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment 🙏 The biocide is Primochill Liquid Utopia. There are not a lot of options specific to watercooling. I picked it because it seemed to do exactly what I wanted. I can't say about the longevity as I maintain and disassemble these loops frequently. This one so far has been fine. Hope that helps

@@vectornetwork The item is not available in my country and via a topic on reddit seems like there is a reaction between this one with ek products? Your vid is so nice and detail for a newbie want to make custom water loop but these components are a bit too expensive especially fitting .May you try to do and review it with other brands which has lower prices such as barrow or something?.Thanks

Which hoses do you use in your builds?
@vectornetwork25 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment 🙏 For soft tubing, I primarily use EPDM 16/10. I find it to be durable and it doesn't kink easily. I also like the way it looks though that is completely subjective. Hope that helps
