Just picked up a 2024 rxpx. Wow!! Did 5.6 hrs yesterday and she is ripping hard! The turning on this machine is incredible! The rough water stability is nothing like anything i have been on. You can be in rough water and turn at 60mph with confidence. After 3 hrs time it would hit 70 on speedo in under 5 seconds. Still only reving to 78-8 krpm but it was 90 degrees out.

I've heard a lot of people complain about the carbon seals in the shaft thru hull leaking. I wonder if that's been addressed.

Great review Kevin, just a couple small errors, you said the new rockers are cast, Rotax says they are forged, and you said 0-60 in the mid fours when it's reportedly 3.4. I am kind of surprised that they didn't put the steering damper on this given the known problems with this hull and bow hunting. I would think it would make an even bigger difference on the RXT than it does on the RXP.

Great review! And a fair assessment of the ST3 hull. First few rides in rough water or boat wakes will definitely tickle your ribs. Once you're used to it, not a problem for just hot rodding around.

Nah. The ride’s not bad. Just a little twitchy bow hunt in certain scenarios. The pros far outweigh the cons for my use.

@@79FatStrat Having owned and owning all three including a Spark too, I can rate them for ride in rough as best, Kawi (because of weight and hull design) second: GP1800R, , Sea Doo and then Sea Doo Trixx. As to handling, the Sea Doo ranks with the best of them with the Yamaha being slightly better and the Kawi at the bottom of the list. Thats just my experience and YMMV.

First, did Kevin really just beach that brand new SeaDoo on those rocks to get some video? Second, I may have a bit of (HP) envy, but here’s the question. 325HP+ New technology= New problems. Where is the weak link? Kevin explains very well ALL the areas that SeaDoo has improved the engine, but only time will tell ( many hours at high RPM ) where the weak link lies. It isn’t a matter of IF there is one, but when it get’s discovered. Then, is it an easy fix, or an expensive one.

The 2008/9 RXTX's used to dart left and right at speed. You'd think that BRP would've corrected this dangerous condition for 2024/5 like they did during the mid 2010-18's but, like the man said they did not. And that boring excuse for a dashboard is inexcusable, what a copout. Who's designing these things anyways, a robot? So efficient though with absolutely ZERO artistic or creative inputs. I've got a rxt is 260 2011 model with 150hrs and it's in great condition. Is there any real reason I could upgrade to this? I can't see how much more it would give me considering the extra cost.

Great video... what do you think of the 2024 RXT-X 325 vs the 2024 FX SVHO. Mostly flat water riding (lake) and more of a cruiser use. I love the Yammy reliability and now back to SMC hull wit FX but torn between the 2 choices. Currently have 18' RTX 300 and Yam GP1800R so deciding between another RTX or going all Yamaha. I like both for what they do.

I have a red rxt on order but just got informed by my dealer that there have been delays with brp and I won't receive it until the end of January 2024 (originally was mid December delivery). 😢 I'm based in Australia so it's a shame I'll only get to use it for the last month of our summer

Thinking of getting this over my 130 gti. The st3 hull, what is rough chop. Im on a lake with normal waves of up to 1foot. Should i be worried? Usually go around 40mph on that kind of water. Im basically between the gtrx 300 and rxtx 325, leaning to rxtx because of the space and low maintnace charger.

I'm on a lake too with a GTX 230 Wake Pro on a ST3 hull. It'll handle it just fine, you actually feel more planted on the st3 imo.

LOL I Don't know what people complain about with BOW Hunting. I've got a 2021 RXT-X300 and a 2011 Rxt-x260 Both are just fine even in 2 foot chop. BOTH my friends have 2020 and 2019 supercharged SVHO's cruisers ALL our machines are stock. And both my rxt-x's Blow them away! GLASS OR CHOP and i've had a LOT of seat time on their machines too. And I honestly PERSONALLY feel they track the same. I'm not being by bias here either. In fact I rode their machines 1st before buying my Rxt-x's I use to have old 2 strokes! Their machines are what got me to buy mine. But I did some research bought seadoo's and Hands down love them a lot more. They corner much better too. Feel a lot more light and nimble as well.

have they solved their crooked handlebars when you want to go straight? I think it's a bad joke that to go straight you have to have the handlebars tilted 5-10 degrees to one side.

*sigh* It's comments like these that make me hate this job. Seriously. 1. In most cases, the handlebars are installed at the dealership as leaving them installed make the skis too tall for the crates, making this an issue of dealership service centers, not the factory; 2. All steering systems are easily adjusted via a threaded cable that runs from the steering arm (visible from the engine compartment, forward of the air box) all the way to the steering nozzle out back. A small 10mm wrench is all it takes to adjust the steering one way or another. AND instructions on how to do so are found in your OWNERS MANUAL. ...but no, we get incomprehensibly stupid comments like these from people who don't have the mental bandwidth to stop and investigate the issue themselves like grown men, and instead take the time to publicly bitch in the comments section like a child. How I wish ownership of these machines required both a physical/general athleticism exam and a mechanical aptitude test.

The 325 is the top dog in the watercraft production market. What other market can u get top dog for $20k? Sport bikes, snowmobiles, four wheelers and UTV’s are similar because we can't all afford fancy cars and boats. Gas, storage and service is $1200 a year I get 3 months or 25 hours of use a year.
