I absolutely love my VXR. Yamaha doesn't make those anymore but I highly recommend the 1812 motor. Good power and fuel consumption balance on it as well. You can drive the VX HO slower if you need to, the little motor will leave you wanting that power. If it's a heavy traffic lake and or for kids, the smaller one might be a better choice.

The VXR was renamed the GP1800R HO. It's the same ski.

Went to my dealer with the intention of putting a deposit on the VX cruiser HO, but my dealer only had one coming in that was already reserved. He was only getting 25 total even though he wanted 100. Luckily my second choice was still on his list, the GP1800R HO in black and yellow w/audio. It’s crazy how few options there will be this year. Of the 25 there were only two GP HOs, two VX HOs, and one FX HO. The rest were VXs with the TR1 or FXs with SVHOs. Pretty excited about the awesome looking GP and it’s performance. Put my $500 down, but will still use your tips about calling close to it’s April 2022 arrival and being there with cash as soon as it arrives.

Got a call from my dealer today with confirmed orders they will receive from yamaha! Was talking to them about a vx cruiser ho and a gp1800 going in straight in the morning to get thr ball rolling on one of them !

Wondering if the GP shvo is worth the money over the vx cruiser ho now ? Main reason I want to get a ski is to get out there and just play and whip it around.

If the VX had trim it would be perfect but it doesn’t you have to take what conditions give you. I’m going 2022 GP HO

Is trim that important? Iv never owned a jetski but I put an order on the vx ho but now I'm wondering if the gp ho would be better but I straight up have nothing to base either of them off of other than a 2012 vx deluxe

@@cheesecurdinator4010 my thing is we want to add a super rack to haul a ice chest and extra fuel and that adds extra weight to the stern forcing the bow up. The 18 gallon tank on the waverunners vs the 15 gallon on the Sea doo gti is the only reason I’m going Yamaha

Yes, GP's have tilt steering.
