Slight correction lads.......Loch Skene is not the highest loch in south Scotland. It's at about 515m but Gameshope Loch, further west, is at about 560m.

After the fantastic weather we’ve had on our walks so far I can accept the fog taking the summit views from this one since we had great conditions to see the waterfalls and loch. The video doesn’t do it justice.

Jackets kept the top halves very dry. Should probably have stuck on the waterproof trousers whilst we were at it!

Enjoyed your walk review, shame about the views! How long did the circuit take to walk?

Thanks Laura. We took about 6 hours to complete this however also added in the extra summit, which isn’t part of the traditional route.
