Hi! I love your channel❤. You've visited quite a few places that I'm familiar with, including Seneca rock. I went on a summer camping trip in 1981, where we climbed Seneca Rock. It's only as wide as a side walk at the top. We rappelled back down, which was my favorite part. The guides were professional rock climbers and outdoorsman. We made tea from sassafras roots, bathed in a freezing cold creek, and the last day, they scattered us apart to camp solo. I found a few of my camp mates when I smacked two rocks together and got a response a few hundred yards away😂😊. Thank you for sharing your adventures and bringing back memories. I hadn't seen Seneca rock again until I watched this video.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video! I live near Canaan and Seneca Rocks (near Elkins) and recognize around 99% of the areas shown in this video. If you are ever back into this area, and since you seem to enjoy Civil War history, I highly recommend heading over to Elkins, Beverly (a few miles south of Elkins), and Philippi (about 30-45 minutes north of Elkins) as we were the sites of some of the first actions of the Civil War and have quite a bit of the history showcased. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see a young woman have such an interest in the Civil War! Good luck on your travels and hopefully you can make it over this way sometime soon!

I've been watching your videos all day and watching you prepare food is making me hungry. :) Also, I live in very suburban Northern Va. I like to take long car rides and find interesting places. Last summer, I drove solo to a small town in the West Virginia mountains. It kind of freaked me out being so far from a highway and seeing nothing but mountains in every direction. Yet you travel these areas with such ease. Wish i had the nerve to camp in my car overnight. What an adventure.

Your first campsite on Canaan Loop Road was on the Allegheny Trail. You could have hike trail behind your car. Lots trails on that road.

Almost Heaven! WV. Nice shot of you on the swing with the sign. If I was there, I could have given you a hand with a friendly push. Nice waterfall shots and cool drone footage. I liked the ones from up high where it looked like you could see for miles. I see we have opposite tastes for breakfast. I like eggs but have no desire for avocado on toast. 🤢 When removing your contacts, head straight and side eye looking up to the right or left. With practice... you'll be removing them like a champ in no time. If those are soft flexible contacts like I wear, it would be uncomfortable if they're inside out. Your drone camera work has gotten so good! You’ve improved so much. I see a lot of “van lifers” do the drone shots but their shots aren’t nearly as good as yours 😊 Side comment - don’t burn yourself out! Take a day (or two!) for some self care if possible

I’m from rural PA but I love WV so much. It’s gorgeous. I go to Snowshoe a lot for bike stuff. The drive is awesome every time. Seneca Rocks and other rock formations in the area are beautiful. Passing by the Green Bank Observatory is so cool and worth a stop! Lastly, the Volvo XC90 is certainky one of the more obscure KZbinr-living-in-their-car vehicles. Actually I’d argue even more obscure than some of the baller imported vehicles. And I’m certain it has the resonator deleted or something, no? I’m a car (mostly USDM euro stuff) nerd so the Volvo really pulled me in hahaha.

New follower here. How have you liked your Volvo for traveling and camping? They always had a reputation for being tanks with no horspower but were easy to maintain. How has your experience been? I just never considered one so I am curious. On your contacts, you probably turned them inside out so the feather edge digs in. I commonly do that so I don't wear mine often. I have routinely used 2 to 4 year old contacts for a few hours when I really want them. I just toss them after a single use.

Curious to know how much you're paying to camp in the places that you do as well as how you find your spots? I've heard that the east coast is notoriously horrible for people trying to do what you're doing. I think I recall you saying somewhere along the lines that you're doing each state in the continental US. They've all been free for me. I don't stay in campgrounds that you have to pay for. I'd rather sleep in a truck stop before my last option was a campground.
