Watergate scandal was a political scandal in the United States from 1971 to 1974 involving incumbent President Richard Nixon and his administration. The committee that was working for President NIxon to get him re-elected for the upcoming election organized a break-in and burglary at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office building in Washington DC.This event ultimately led to the resignation of President Nixon.

If he didn't act like a tyrant and tried to rule with iron fist then he wouldn't have to resign, he made many good policies under his presidency. In hindsight his worst decisions were 1st he shouldn't hired those jobbers who're so incompetent and stupid that they couldn't wire in 1st attempt as it wasn't even needed, he won it easily and 2nd was firing the lawyer as it made it way obvious.
