Rachel is TOO GOOD for him. He’s aggressive and can’t stand that she is a boss babe. I always felt so bad for Finn. I’m so happy about Finns turnover next term 😊 It sucks growing up knowing your parents don’t really know you, love you or care about you. And I had two sets. Luckily my adoptive brother and his wife raised me with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & SUPPORT.

I know it's 2 months late, but I hate when people say Mead hated Finn. They didn't hate each other at all. I feel like Mead gave him tough love like a father would for his son. If anything, Mead was more fatherly to Finn than his own father was.

I really thought the Adam plot line for Rachel was dumb. It took her a season and a half to get with Eddie and the school always came first. She clearly absolutely loves this job, its her life. Then she reunites with someone she used to know, gets with him, gets engaged, gets married and leaves the school for him all in half a season which would be around 3 - 6 months? For a guy who she argues with ALL the time? Every single episode with Adam she had some big argument with him, they hardly ever even had any nice moments. She probably divorced him months later because all they do is argue.

I will always find it so strange and weird that Finn "loved" Amy so much. These two were going to kill themselves for each other. Then in the next series, they acted like they dont know each other and Finn got with Sam (which I preferred way better than Finn and Amy) idk it was just unrealistic and weird.

I don’t see any chemistry between them tbh, I mean they only met half way through the season! It was much more clear between Eddie and Rachel, and I truly don’t believe she would give up the school (at least that quickly) for Adam. Most married teachers can work around school anyway.

What I know about relationships could be written on the back of a Post-It note but it seems a bit one-dimensional. The whole idea of giving up work upon marriage is rather old fashioned and doesn't really make sense now. Up until the 1970s in Ireland there was a thing called the marriage ban. It meant women in public sectors (such as teaching) had to give up work when they got married because it was believed that when they married women had to stay at home and look after the house and raise the children (a view influenced by religion I think).

I think the episode was about Finn/Amy and Rachel/Adam because they wanted to do a theme about relationships where its Finn and Amy was the controlling, toxic relationship and Rachel and Adam were the loving relationship except watching this again, Adam and Rachel were just as toxic and controlling IMO. Adam was super controlling over her. Adam was always super needy for attention from her and its always when there's some big, life threatening crisis going on and he freaks out that she's at work, doing her job like its some crime! What a dick.

100% agree. Being British in America is amazing, did a year at university there. The healthcare thing isn't an issue if you come from a fairly well off background. If you're moving to another 1st world country chances are you are well off anyway. Trump as president, despite his personality and methods won't really effect you as much as people say. And if you're friends at home mean that much to you, you can always visit them or talk over social media and you'll make new friends easily!
